Hallo, mijn naam is Pedro en ik zal uw gids zijn in deze memorabele tour. Ontmoetingspunt: Op het afgesproken tijdstip ontmoeten wij u bij uw accommodatie (Na de reservering stuurt u uw accommodatieadres door). Geweldig uitzicht: We zullen reizen over enkele van de mooiste wegen in het noorden van Portugal met stops langs de weg in uitzichtpunten, van waaruit we in staat zullen zijn om de hele omgeving van de vallei met de wijngaarden en de rivier de Douro te overwegen. Boottocht: Aangekomen in Pinhão doen we een boottocht, zodat u een ander perspectief op de Douro-vallei kunt hebben. Lunch: Het is tijd voor de lunch, de plaats is van een unieke schoonheid die naast het prachtige uitzicht ook een ontwaken van smaken zal zijn. Familie wijnmakerij: Naast de prachtige uitzichten en het bezoek proeft u wit, rose, rood, portwijn en olijfolie. Comfortabel reizen: De reis zal plaatsvinden in een comfortabele sedan of Mercedes busje met airconditioning, ruimte voor 6 personen en flessen water. Licentie RNAAT 1343/2018

Als we allemaal bij elkaar zijn, beginnen we aan onze reis naar de Douro-vallei. Er zal flessenwater zijn voor alle mensen.
Aangekomen in PInhão, krijgt u de gelegenheid om een boottocht te maken in een traditionele Rabelo-boot, zodat u de Douro-vallei vanuit een ander perspectief kunt bekijken. Dit soort boot werd gebruikt voor het vervoer van de Portwijn en nu om rondvaarten te maken.
De lunch vindt plaats in een restaurant met uitzicht op de rivier de Douro, waar u kunt kiezen uit een vlees-, vis- of vegetarisch gerecht. Complete maaltijd met drankjes en dessert.
In de middag bezoeken we een familiewijnmakerij, met een prachtig uitzicht. Na het bezoek doe je een wijnhuis (wit, rose, gouden medaille rood), Port wijnproeverij en olijfolie.
Na het wijnhuisbezoek is het tijd om terug te keren naar Porto.

Pedro was an incredible guide. More than a guide, he was like a new friend. He knew so much about everything we saw… from when he picked us up in Lisbon and to Porto - and many places in between (incl Nazaré). We also had a bit of a snafu w our hotel in Porto and he remained w us until it was totally resolved - and he was the one who helped to resolve the issue. He’s a very kind man who clearly is proud of his country, his city (Porto) and his family. I would (and have - as of today) recommend him to anyone and everyone. Pedro is what’s best about meeting new people and travel.
Pedro is in short a Wizard of Unforgettable Moments. We spent a few days with him: 1/2 day tour of Porto, the Douro Valley tour, the private transfer from Porto to Lisbon (including very special stops on the way), and finally a 1/2 day tour of Lisbon. All private, all customized to our likings, and most importantly all so unforgettable! Pedro is knowledgeable (he navigated all of our routes sans GPS!), kind, patient and generous. He singlehandedly took our vacation from great to wow. We will return to Portugal specifically to spend time with him; next time we’ll conquer the South. Book him, in advance. You won’t regret it.
