Laat u verrassen tijdens deze exclusieve, begeleide dagtocht vanuit Porto, in een comfortabele Mercedes-bus met airconditioning, in een groep van maximaal 8 personen, en ontdek de Douro-vallei, het belangrijkste wijngebied van Portugal. Laat u verrassen door een bezoek aan een meer dan honderd jaar oud familiebedrijf dat wijn produceert, en proef hun olijfolie, port en DOC-wijnen, die op traditionele wijze worden gemaakt. Laat u verrassen door de prachtige uitzichten en grijp de kans om schitterende foto's te maken. This was an excellent tour, one of the best we’ve ever done whilst on holiday. Our guide, Rui, was very friendly and engaging from start to finish. He provided lots of great information about the places we were visiting, and about the history and culture of Porto, and happily answered all of our questions. He was keen to know more about us and chatted enthusiastically on topics of common interest. We loved the viewpoint that Rui took us to as an added extra. The whole tour was brilliantly organised and ran very smoothly. There were several stops but we were able to go at our own pace, we never felt hurried or pressured to move on. Being part of a small group was perfect as it was more personal and enabled us to get more out of the experience. All of the guides and winery staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, polite and engaging. The boat trip was excellent, led by a compelling guide/captain who kept us entertained with interesting anecdotes and information about the river and its importance to wine production. With a maximum group size of 8, you definitely benefit from a more personal experience. Travelling from Porto, it was lovely to see the amazing Portuguese countryside throughout the day and visit the beautiful town of Pinhão. Here, we visited Quinta da Foz winery and tasted 2 premium wines and 2 excellent ports. The tour and wine tasting were made all the more enjoyable by the winery guide who was informative and engaging, and made a great effort to know more about us. He helped to break the ice between a group of strangers which quickly resulted in everyone chatting happily to each other. The lunch, wines and port at the second winery were also first class!
Such a fun day! Enthusiasm and lots to learn about. The Duoro has wonderful views and fantastic wines and ports and we got to try many along with lots of local foods. Two vineyards and a fun trip up the river and Rui the guide was excellent. Thankyou for a first class day.

Due to a late notice change of hotel, we had to rearrange our pickup however this was not an issue. Rui was our guide and was exellent, very friendly, and a delight to spend the day with. Every stop along the way was absolutely worthwhile, and we were kept well informed of what we were doing throughout. The tastings were delicious, and given the limitations on how much we can bring back home, made it very difficult to choose which wines to buy. The lunch was amazing too, with a great atmosphere round the table. Would absolutely take this tour again, and will be reccomending this to anyone visiting Porto. We really enjoyed our day.

Ruis was a fantastic guide. He is the cousin of an Qatari prince and he tells fantastic stories. The wine was also very good to and the food was TO DIE FOR.

We had a wonderful day exploring the Douro Valley! The tour was exactly as described on the website and was very well organized. Our guide, Rui, picked us up at our Airbnb right on time. We were a small group of only eight people, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Rui was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about the region. During the drive, he shared interesting information about Porto and the Douro Valley, making the journey both educational and enjoyable. He also gave us great recommendations for places to visit and things to do during the rest of our stay in Porto. The scenery throughout the Douro Valley was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed a relaxing boat ride on the Douro River in Pinhão, where we were served a local drink along with cheese and bread. We also visited two beautiful wineries for wine tastings and enjoyed an excellent lunch paired with a variety of local wines and liqueurs. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. If you're visiting Porto, I highly recommend taking this tour. A special thank you to Rui for making the day so memorable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great trip Gisela. Using wattsapp made it easy we received a message day before with pick up time and then off to the valley. We had rest break in the valley in a nice village then off to the boat which was very good. The winery we visited was stunning and the guide there was also excellent with great tastings. Then a short drive to lunch with tastings of local wines and great local food then return trip back to Porto. Overall excellent trip.
