Ophalen bij hotel in Hoian, we brengen de ochtend / middag door voor een wandeltocht door deze betoverende havenstad. Volg de smalle steegjes omzoomd met eeuwenoude huizen beïnvloed door Chinese, Japanse, Franse en Europese architecturen en bezoek de vele bezienswaardigheden: de 400 jaar oude Japanse overdekte brug, de Phuc Kien assemblagehallen, de lokale vismarkt ... Rond de stad kunnen we een groot aantal kunstgalerijen en kleermakerswinkeltjes zien, als je wilt kleding op maat kopen. Je brengt meer dan twee uur boottocht op de Thu Bon-rivier door om van het natuurlijke uitzicht te genieten en het normale leven van lokale vissers te ontdekken. Terug naar het hotel

Tuân(aka Tony) was a very pleasant, cheerful and knowledgeable guide. In the end the tour lasted nearly 5 hours and included a half hour show in an old house in the old town - excellent musicians & dancers, & free bingo!! We had an excellent river trip down to the mangroves and water coconut trees. We took in three Chinese temples from different cantons of China, a ceramic and herbal medicine museum and all in all it was excellent if a little bit tiring.!!

What a wonderful tour. Our guide Trieu Nyugen was so knowledgeable and the town is a great place to explore. We would not have discovered a fraction of the history or understood the significance of certain places, carvings or monuments without our excellent guide who was so personable and fun to be with. Great half day tour around Hoi An, with a really knowledgeable guide (Trieu). As the weather had been a monsoon downpour the day before, our guide swapped us into a bike tour (using hotel bikes) rather than what would have been a walking/paddling tour.
The first full day we were in Hoi An we did the half day city walking tour with Trang with GoWay travel. She was so delightful and fun! We saw the market and many historical sights of this ancient city. We got some good exercise walking but it wasn’t too much She spent the whole afternoon with us. We learned a lot about the culture and history of both Hoi An and Vietnam. She even drove us to a place to get my suit fitted They patiently waited for us and later drove us back for a second fitting What a great experience !! We will be back to Hoi An soon Thank you. I travelled alone by bus from Danang and spent most of the day at Hoi-An - a hidden treasure of world importance. Bought a pass near the bus terminal which allows a visit to 5-7 attractions, including temple, palaces and the dance theatre. A must is to loiter around until after sunset, and watches the lanterns magically light up this little piece of fairy land.

Enjoyed the walking tour around the old town of Hoi An. Also included a boat tour down the river getting a different view of Hoi An.
we wandered around Hue looking at the interesting points with an extremely knowledgeable guide who not only explained what we were looking at but alsp some of the history. He was akso hekpful and willing to stop for a rest when we required it. Instead of the long walk back to the boat he arranged for cyclo trip back. This was a minimal extra cost.
