Maak je klaar om een ontspannende dag door te brengen met het ontdekken van enkele van de mooiste stranden aan de kust van de staat São Paulo. Er is geen betere plek om van een zonnige dag te genieten dan naar de prachtige badplaatsen Santos en Guarujá te gaan. Bij het ophalen bij het hotel in São Paulo en reizen voor 1u30 naar de kust. Tijdens de tour ontmoet je prachtige stranden en het stadscentrum, uitzichtpunten en rijd je met een spannende kabelbaan naar de top van een berg! Bezoek de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Santos, zoals de Mont Serrat, het Koffiemuseum en het eiland Porchat, gecombineerd met een sightseeing langs de stranden. Verander dan het tempo en neem de veerboot om naar de naburige badplaats Guarujá te gaan om te ontspannen op een zandstrand, in de buurt van restaurants, met hapjes en een drankje aan het strand. Guarujá valt op door een strook helder zacht zand en kleine golven, ideaal om in zee te zwemmen. Het is zeker een bestemming voor diegenen die dichter bij de natuur willen zijn of willen luieren op het zand om de tijd in stijl door te brengen.

Rijd met een tram de Mont Serrat op, een piek met een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht vanaf het voormalige oude casino op de top. De toegang tot de heuvel wordt gemaakt door een kabelbaan (de kabelbaan van Monte Serrat genoemd) die de topheuvel verbindt met het centrum van de stad en elke 20 minuten vertrekt. Vanuit zijn gezichtspunt is het mogelijk om een volledig zicht te hebben op de haven, het stedelijke deel van Santos en omgeving, het Bertioga-kanaal, de monding en de Barnabé en de Santo Amaro-eilanden.
Ontbijt in de stijlvolle coffeeshop van het koffiemuseum in Santos en bezoek het om meer te weten te komen over het belang van de koffie voor de Braziliaanse sociaaleconomische ontwikkeling. De coffeeshop biedt de mogelijkheid om alle soorten en aroma's van koffie die vlak voor het drinken is gemalen, uit te proberen.
Maak een sightseeing in het prachtig gerestaureerde historische centrum van Santos en rijd langs de 8 km lange aaneengesloten, brede en vlakke strook zandstranden. Het belangrijkste hoogtepunt van Santos is de grootste strandtuin ter wereld, opgenomen in het Book of Records met 5335 meter lang, vol bloemen en zorgvuldig behandelde bomen. Santos is ook de thuisbasis van de grootste haven in Latijns-Amerika, waar een groot deel van het Braziliaanse BBP passeert met een nooit eindigend komen en gaan van de trans-Atlantische Oceaan.
Bewonder het prachtige uitzicht op de kustlijn van Santos en de stad "Saint Vincent" (eerste permanente Portugese nederzetting in Brazilië) vanaf het monument van Niemeyer op de top van de heuvel Porchat Island. Je zult de hele kust kunnen zien, schepen aan de horizon, golven die gevormd worden, mensen zoals mieren en paragliders die rondvliegen!
Guarujá is een klassiek Braziliaans strand. Een combinatie van vele familiebedrijven, snackbars en restaurants. Als je honger hebt, vind je tal van verkopers die allerlei lekker eten, snacks en drankjes aanbieden. Verkopers verhuren ook strandstoelen, parasols, surfplanken, bodyboards, scooters en nog veel meer.

Danilo is one of the best guides we’ve ever met — always smiling, funny, an excelent driver and incredibly knowledgeable about Brazil’s history and culture. In Santos, Danilo guided us through the Port of Santos, Monte Serrat, the Coffee Museum, Rei do Café, and the Pelé Museum, bringing each place to life with stories and history. We visited Orchid garden, a wonderful combination of fauna and flora. We finished the day in Guarujá, enjoying lunch on the beach, ocean time, and a peaceful atmosphere. Danilo is a great guide, with a lot of knowledge of the history of the area. Drive great and tell details of the places. Also highly valued are their tips on where to eat. I ate the best Moqueca I have ever tasted and had a spectacular coffee in Santos. Thanks Danilo for everything!

I Had an amazing time at the beaches. My tour guide Valiserra, was both knowledgeable and courteous. He made the day so much fun. I learned so much today about the history of coffee museum and enjoyed the parasailing. He made it a point to make my adventure personal. He was wonderful.

Lovely trip had insane guide. Showed us everything. Train to former casino very nice. Too bad it was Monday and some things closed. And dropped off at the airport on time.

Our guide Mellio was fabulous! He showed us lots of cool spots in Santos and took us to the beautiful beach for a leisurely lunch. The car was clean and comfortable and he took great care to get us to our destinations quickly and safely. His English was excellent. We’re very glad we did this tour. It was worth the cost.
This was easily the worse tour experience I have ever had, especially for the price, which at the time I took the tour was over US$500 for two people. 1. The tour guide did speak English, but not very well. Kudos to him for learning more than one language, but the experience led to much confusion and a diminished experience. 2. The "historic cultural downtown" was a drive by and hand wave. 3. The Monte Serrat funicular was ok but we had all figured out by then that the language barrier was going to be a problem. I learned more by looking at the Wikipedia page after the tour. 3. The Coffee Museum was somewhat interesting but again the tour guide skipped through a lot of the exhibits because of the language barrier. 4. We chose to skip the Santos Beach because he said it was not as good as the Guaruja beach. Why would that even be a tour stop? 5. We did go to Guaruja beach which was.....fine. It's not any better or worse than any other Caribbean beach other than the water is colder. We ordered fried shrimp and they brought peel-n-eat shrimp that was not deveined. The meat filled pastry was a little better but greasy. I did love the pina colada made from fresh fruit. 6. The last stop was a lookout point over the Guaruja beach. That had pretty views. The tour lasted 6 hours - off the ship at 9 am and back to the ship by 3 pm, so we paid nearly $100/hour for a bad tour. Other people on our cruise paid US$30 for a taxi to Santos Beach, or a little more for a taxi Guaruja Beach. Should we ever return to Santos, we will do the same or just stay on the ship. This tour is a terrible value.
