Privé Sian Kaan Muyil Lazy River Tour

My sister and I had an amazing time with our guide William who drove us from our hotel at Royalton Splash to Sian Kaan. The environment is absolutely gorgeous and surreal. The best part was William's enthusiasm about the creatures, eco-system and culture. We really enjoyed it and it will be the highlight of our Mexico trip.

We had a great tour to the Muyil lazy river. The water was chilly but it was a great experience to float in the mangroves transparent water! Our guide was also taking pictures of us, which were very nice souvenirs for the whole family. We then stopped at the Corazon cenote were it was amazing to swim among the many fishes and to jump from the platform. The kids loved this experience! We finished by going to a local restaurant where our guide ordered many typical Mexican dishes and drinks that were all delicious. All in all I can fully recommend this tour. Another tour that I cannot choose from the drop down but that was absolutely amazing is the tour that Bestmayatour offer to Punta Laguna and Coba. We saw monkeys, we ziplined, we had a kayak tour on the laguna, we went rappeling in a cenote, and climbed to the top of the highest Coba pyramid, great memories for the whole family. All in all we give this tour 5+ stars and can highly recommend it, thanks a lot!

Perfect for kids and family!!!! Salvador was incredible. We had so much fun the first day on the lazy river and Cenote tour that we booked for the following day before we were done with day 1! Salvador felt like he was a member of our family! Please ask him about “casa de jaguar” and the “Mayan chicken tour” that was my favorite part! Your family will love the laid back fun and safe adventures with Best Maya tours! 10 stars!!!

Quetzal was a fantastic guide. Incredibly nice guy who made sure our family had a wonderful time. Floating down the canal was such a fun, unique, and relaxing experience. I can’t recommend it enough.

What a fun excursion. First a bit of sailing across the lake and through the mangrove, with a fun and fast boat, and then floating downstream for almost 30 minutes. Or floating. Water temperature is close to 30 degrees so feels great. Nice skipper who also tells something about the ancient Maya and what they did there. Top day, what a winner! The Muyil and Sian Ka’An lazy River tour with Martin was fantastic. Thanks to Martin and our driver we were at all times safe and looked after. Martin was knowledgeable and provided insightful information on Mayan culture and history and the natural surroundings in the Biosphere. Excellent day

Omg! This is a long overdue review! We had an amazing time on this private excursion. We started with the lazy river, which was refreshing and beautiful. Lunch was at a local restaurant in Tulum. We were introduced to Birria ... cannot believe we haven't eaten this prior. All of the food was wonderful. Finished with site seeing at a newly, and currently, excavated Maya site. It's still a work in progress, but amazing to see it as the jungle overtook the site and the progress made thus far. What a great day!

Our Sian Kaan Muyil Lazy River Tour was a great experience. Salvador guided us first through the Muyil ruins, which are fascinating to explore in their jungle setting. We were then taken by boat across 2 lagoons, connected by a narrow, winding man-made canal through the mangroves, before jumping into the "lazy river" and floating peacefully along - a unique experience. Salvador then took us to a small restaurant with an authentic local feel, where we enjoyed some typical Mexican dishes. Many thanks Salvador - it was a great day.

This was so much more than floating the lazy river. We started at the archeological ruins of Muyil which are astounding. Although there are larger ruins to see like Chechen Itza, Muyil is quiet, uncrowded, and with your own personal guide (The Mayan Warrior), we learned a great deal about the history of the culture and region. After walking the ruins, we then drove to another location and walked the jungle to our loading dock for the boat trip across the Biosphere waters. This was a fabulous ride through ancient mangrove canals which were man made for commerce and trading. The fact that they still exist and you traverse them in modern times is both humbling. Although the river float is only about 1.5 miles, it feels peaceful and spiritual. The trip culminates with authentic Mexican/Maya food in Playa del Carmen before you get dropped off back at your lodging. The Warrior took pictures throughout the tour and then later sent a photo file. Well worth the money.

Very good experience. The tour was very relaxing and informative at the same time. I would recommend it.
