Privétour van een halve dag: Ubud Art Village Trip is een van de meest populaire Bali Half Day Tours om de Balinese cultuur in het dorp Ubud te bezoeken. Begin met het ophalen bij je hotel, onze eerste bestemming is een bezoek aan het Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, waar grijze makaken rondzwerven tussen hindoetempels, jungle en kloof. De reis gaat verder met een bezoek aan het paleis van Ubud, het paleis dat ook wel bekend staat als Puri Saren Ubud en dit paleis is elke dag druk bezocht door toeristen. Onze volgende bestemming is een bezoek aan de kunstmarkt van Ubud, gelegen tegenover het paleis, waar u voor een goedkope prijs wat souvenirs kunt kopen. De lunch wordt verzorgd in een restaurant in de omgeving van Ubud, na de lunch gaan we naar het rijstterras van Tegalalang, het beste rijstterras in Ubud. Ubud Monkey Forest is een klein regenwoud bewoond door een groep apen en andere tropische dieren. Het is strategisch gelegen in het hart van Ubud Village. Apenbossen in de Balinese taal genaamd Wanara Wana zijn verspreid over het eiland en Ubud Monkey Forest zelf heeft een zeer belangrijke functie van de continuïteit van het leefgebied van de aap op Bali. Ondertussen heeft de lokale gemeenschap een belangrijke rol om dit bos van nature te houden zodat alle wilde dieren in staat zijn om soepel te leven.
Ubud Royal Palace of Puri Saren Ubud is een van de meest prominente plekken in Ubud, want het is pal aan de hoofdweg Jalan Raya Ubud en de kruising. Het paleis kan ook worden beschouwd als het centrale oriëntatiepunt van Ubud. Het paleis van Ubud werd gebouwd tijdens de heerschappij van wijlen Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) en wordt goed onderhouden door zijn opeenvolgende erfgenamen. Een bezoek aan de Puri Saren is op veel van de routes naar het Ubud-gebied.
De kunstmarkt van Ubud, plaatselijk Pasar Seni Ubud genoemd, ligt tegenover het Puri Saren Royal Ubud Palace en is dagelijks geopend. Hier vind je prachtige zijden sjaals, lichtgewicht overhemden, handgemaakte geweven tassen, manden of hoeden, beelden, vliegers en vele andere handgemaakte goederen. De meeste goederen die op de markt van Ubud worden gevonden, worden gemaakt in de naburige dorpen Pengosekan, Tegallalang, Payangan en Peliatan. De markt als economisch centrum van Ubud en ontvouwt zich van west naar oost, verdeeld in twee groepen met een ander doel.
Tegalalang rijstterras dat volgens de geschiedenis werd doorgegeven door een gerespecteerde heilige man genaamd Rsi Markandeya in de achtste eeuw. Tegalalang vormt de drie meest prachtige terrasvormige landschappen in de gedeelde regio Ubud, met de anderen in de dorpen Pejeng en Campuhan. Tegalalang Rice Terrace alleen heeft een uitzicht dat zich vóór u uitstrekt en weg naar de rijstterrassen op de hellingen over de vallei. De hoge locatie langs de weg is koel en luchtig en het is een bekende plek voor toeristen om te stoppen en foto's te maken.

My friend and I booked a private tour to Ubud with Bali Sky Tour, which we would definitely recommend. The company is extremely efficient and professional, with very competitive prices. We were picked up at our villa in Seminyak, by our driver, Aditya, who was excellent. He was extremely personable, and made our day very enjoyable. We had an early start, which meant we arrived at the Monkey Forest just at opening / feeding time - perfect! It was a full day tour, which included the Monkey Forest (amazing!) and Ubud Art Village, with lunch (food was delicious), and also a stop at rice terraces. My friend had never been to Bali before, and I had not been for almost 20 years. There are so many tour operators around, it was difficult to choose. We were so happy that we made the right choice! We had a wonderful experience with Bali Sky Tour, and would definitely book with them again.

We were very much looking forward to this tour. I put in our hotel address and received confirmation on April 5th. The night before the tour, April 13th, we were canceled because "we weren't in the central zone." Had we been notified when booking, or a day or two after the reservation was received, we could have made other plans. I am sure the tour would have been great (by all accounts), but we built our visit around this tour and we were canceled after we arrived here.

10/10 would recommend! Putu was our amazing driver and tour guide who took us to the rice fields, monkey forest, ubud palace and markets and then for an outstanding Balinese lunch - the fried noodle was delicious! Putu was very friendly and as a Balinese local, had a lot of knowledge to share with us. Please do not hesitate to book this tour it was an awesome day. 5/5 stars, thanks for having us Putu, hope to see you again in the future!

The tour was amazing! Our tour guide Putu was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Was great to have a local show us around Ubud. We went to the rice fields, the monkey forest, the market and palace. Then had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. Was a great day and would highly recommend to anybody considering booking this tour!!!
