Ubud brengt enkele van Bali’s bekendste bezienswaardigheden samen, en deze privé dagtour maakt het gemakkelijk om ze in één reis te bezoeken. Reis met uw eigen chauffeur en geniet van een flexibele dienstregeling zonder dat u te maken krijgt met de drukke wegen van Bali. Begin bij het Ubud Monkey Forest, waar honderden langstaartmakaken rondzwerven tussen oude tempels en tropische bomen. Ga verder naar Tegalalang Rice Terrace voor uitzicht op de beroemde groene rijstvelden van Bali, gevolgd door een leuke jungleschommel met uitzicht op de vallei. Bezoek vervolgens de Tirta Empul Tempel, een van Bali’s belangrijke watertempels, bekend om zijn heilige bronnen en traditionele zuiveringsrituelen. Deze unieke en heilige plek is een plek die je gezien moet hebben in Ubud. Er zijn veel dieren in het wild in het dichte bos. Loop over het pad in de schaduw en zie veel vogels, hagedissen, vlinders en apen tussen de bomen. Het is een perfecte set voor het echte wilde leven. Er zijn 3 heilige tempels om dit gebied in evenwicht te brengen. Lokale mensen komen meestal bidden op een speciale ceremoniedag.
Fantastische scènes van de groene rijstvelden. Wandel door de beroemde rijstvelden. Zie hoe de boeren hun dagelijkse activiteiten doen, en na de wandeling, dineren in een klein restaurant met een prachtig uitzicht op de jungle en de Tegalalang vallei.
Tirta Empul betekent Heilige Lente in het Balinees. Het tempelcomplex bestaat uit een petirtaan of badhuis, beroemd om zijn heilige bronwater, waar Balinese hindoes naartoe gaan voor rituele zuivering. De tempelvijver heeft een bron die regelmatig vers water geeft, wat Balinese hindoes als heilig of amritha beschouwen. In de Tempel kun je zien hoe Balinezen een heilige zegen doen.

What made our day with Adhi so memorable wasn’t simply the places we visited—it was having someone who genuinely cared about sharing Bali with us. From the temples and waterfalls to the monkey forest and coffee tasting, Adhi brought every stop to life with stories about Balinese history, culture, and religion. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, and simply a wonderful person to spend the day with. After traveling quite a bit, I can honestly say guides like Adhi are rare. If you have the opportunity to tour Bali with him, take it—you won’t regret it.
We had an amazing day with our tour driver, Adhi! He was friendly, professional, and incredibly informative throughout the entire day. He took us to the Monkey Sanctuary, Bali Swing, a beautiful waterfall, coffee plantation, and the Water Temple. Wah, Konang and team provided an excellent service to a dynamic group of 9 mature women. We felt taken care of, informed, and safe as women of colour - and we had so much fun along the way. The team made sure that we were hydrated, nourished, and had everything we needed for each day. Pick ups and drop-offs were communicated well in advance, as well as how to prepare. The team were able to pivot to our needs and preferences. Highlights included visiting the temples, Bali swings, trying local foods, and The coffee plantation. The team made sure, that we had sufficient time for each activity and gave us great recommendations. I would highly recommend this service to give you the most out of Bali and a great all-round experience of fun, information, and tradition whilst maintaining safety and respecting the local land. The experience was wonderful; Adhi is a delightful guy who was attentive at all times. He is a very good driver. It was a beautiful day in Ubud. I would definitely do it again.
