Mogelijkheid om het Nationaal Paleis van Queluz te bezoeken. Het vormt een erfgoedreferentie in de Portugese architectuur en landschapsarchitectuur en bevat een belangrijke collectie van het hof in de 18e en 19e eeuw, die de barok, rocaille en neoklassieke periode beslaat.
Sintra is een stad die zeer rijk is aan paleizen, de keuze welke paleizen u wilt bezoeken is aan u. De gids geeft u informatie over al deze gebouwen en samen zult u de meest geschikte voor u kiezen, in een grote verscheidenheid die gaat van het Pena-paleis, het Moorse kasteel en Quinta da Regaleira, enz. Het betoverde dorp Sintra, een klein dorp maar met een grote concentratie aan historische monumenten en interessante toeristische attracties. In Sintra zijn er verschillende nationale monumenten, waaronder unieke paleizen, oude ruïnes en vorstelijke huizen verspreid over de heuvels van de regio, interessante paden voor voetgangers. Het historische centrum leren kennen, vooral Pastelaria Piriquita (een van de attracties van Sintra), met de beroemde typische snoepjes Travesseiros, die ons doen dromen, vooral op de koudste dagen die typisch zijn voor het microklimaat van Sintra
Mogelijkheid om het Nationaal Paleis van Sintra te bezoeken, gelegen in het historische centrum van het dorp, dat bijna acht eeuwen lang werd bewoond door Portugese vorsten en het hof. Het werd veel gebruikt, vooral tijdens de Middeleeuwen, als ondersteuning tijdens de jachtperiodes of tijdens de zomermaanden, vanwege het mildere klimaat van het dorp.
Cabo de Roca is het meest westelijke punt van het Europese continent, waar de aarde eindigt en de zee begint, zoals Luís de Camões schreef (in Os Lusíadas, Canto VIII), de vuurtoren, 165 meter hoog, dateert uit 1772, hier kunnen we zien de onmetelijkheid van de Atlantische Oceaan, die een van de meest emblematische plekken in Portugal onthult.
De naam "Boca do Inferno" die aan deze plek wordt toegeschreven, is te danken aan de morfologische analogie en de enorme en angstaanjagende impact van de golven daar.
Vrije tijd om Cascais te verkennen met een breed strand en zeer pittoreske straatjes die de stad tot een plaats maken die veel wordt bezocht door toeristen, een mix van een vissersdorp met een luxe plek met veel restaurants die verse vis en zeevruchten serveren. Tussen de baai en de bergen van Sintra, in de 19e eeuw was Cascais de plaats die door de koninklijke familie werd uitgekozen voor vakanties, die uiteindelijk de adel overnamen, in het historische centrum zijn er veel winkels en restaurants.
De terugkeer naar Lissabon zal worden gemaakt langs de stranden van de lijn, met een panoramisch uitzicht op Estoril, beroemd om zijn Casino (de grootste gokhal van Europa) en vanwege het feit dat auteur Yan Fleming de eerste 007-roman schreef, " Casino Royale ”, tijdens de 2e wereldoorlog hier. We keren terug naar Lissabon langs de "Marginale" weg en genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht op de oceaan.

Vitor made everything easy and enjoyable. He treated us like family- telling great stories and showing us the beautiful places that are off the beaten path. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and can’t wait to come back for more adventures with him.
Fantastic experience with Vitor. From the start , communication was prompt , efficient and so easy. Vitor always arrived on time for pick ups at hotel doorstep = couldn't have been easier. Vitor is the absolute best! We had such a great experience exploring Sintra, Azenhas do Mar, Cabo da Roca, & Cascais. He gave us the best tips to beat the crowds in the palaces, amazing lunch suggestion, and is incredibly knowledgeable of the area! You can't go wrong with a tour with Vitor! We would definitely use him again, and in fact, we will be doing a transfer with him from Lisbon to Porto! Can't wait!

A friend recommended Vitór of Portugal expert for our day in Sintra & Cascais & we were so glad she did! Before we even went to Portugal, he helped us put together our day & get tix online for the palace, Quinta de Regaleira. Our day started with Vitor picking us up at our Lisbon hotel. His luxury car was comfortable & we were in good hands. We really enjoyed talking with Vitor & learning about an array of subjects. We loved the Quinta & all its gardens. Sintra was busy but Vitor told us what to see & eat. We went out to the coast & walked along the beach. Our lunch had a beautiful view & had our favorite grilled fish with clams. What a lovely day. This was so fantastic. Vitor picked us up at our hotel in a very nice Mercedes van and it was incredibly comfortable. Vitor's knowledge of everything made the trip so interesting and wonderful. He has a lovely demeanor and was very easy going, giving us lots of flexibility at each stop and even extending the trip 40 minutes to allow us more time. Thank you Vitor for a lovely private tour. I don't think we would have had a great experience if we went with those huge tour buses. Thank you for being prompt and picking us up from our hotel. Your SUV was roomy and clean. The itinerary was at a perfect pace. Eventhough we went over an hour on the tour you still insist we take our time. It was great to visit each site at our pace.

Vitor is an excellent private tour guide! We had 3 separate full day tours around the sights in Lisbon, Fatima and surrounding areas, and Sintra. Vitor has a great sense of humor and is a wealth of information about the entire country, AND its history! He explained in detail about the important facts of each location and he was VERY accommodating as far as how much time spent in each area. Vitor’s recommendations for restaurants for lunch were excellent for Authentic Portugese food and drink! We NEVER felt rushed and enjoyed every minute! He does tours well outside of the Lisbon area, including the Algarve and Northern locations, including Porto. As an older couple, we didn’t want to have a group tour, and he was always able to park near all sites! Very important, since we have some mobility issues. Vitor surprised us with a special, meaningful gift each day. How thoughtful. We highly recommend the Portugal Expert Turismo!
