Deze privétour door het oude stadsdeel van Istanbul is een prachtige mix van geschiedenis en cultuur, verrijkt met een deskundige gids.

Nadat uw gids u heeft opgehaald bij uw accommodatie, wordt de tour geopend met het prachtige Hippodrome, ooit de locatie van wagenrennen tijdens de Romeinse en Byzantijnse tijd. Bekijk de oude monumenten die hier tot op de dag van vandaag staan, zoals de Obelisk van de Theodosius, de Serpentine-kolom en de Kolom van Constantijn.
Bezoek vervolgens de meest gefotografeerde site in Istanbul, de Blauwe Moskee. Beroemd om zijn prachtige binnenplaats en indrukwekkende minaretten, dankt de moskee zijn bijnaam aan de prachtige blauwe tegels die de binnenmuren bedekken.
Bezoek vervolgens het Topkapi-paleis, de thuisbasis van de sultans van het Ottomaanse rijk. Tegenwoordig is het Topkapi-paleis een spectaculair museum dat de heiligste overblijfselen van de moslimwereld herbergt, inclusief de mantel en het zwaard van de profeet Mohammed.
Pauzeer voor de lunch en ga dan verder naar de Hagia Sophia, een van de architecturale pareltjes van de wereld. Een oude basiliek die dateert uit de 4e eeuw, de Hagia Sophia stond meer dan duizend jaar als de kathedraal van Constantinopel voordat het in 1453 werd omgezet in een moskee, het dient vandaag als een museum.
Breng tijd door in de beroemde Grand Bazaar van Istanbul, de grootste en de oudste overdekte marktplaats ter wereld, waar u allerlei geschenken, leer, kleding, tapijten (tapijten), antiek en sieraden kunt vinden in een authentieke oosterse sfeer. Ervaar de bezienswaardigheden, geluiden en aroma's. Aan het einde van de tour wordt u teruggebracht naar uw hotel of cruisehaven.

The private Istanbul City Tour is a wonderful experience, to immerse yourself in the history and interact with the people of Turkey. Our tour guide made us feel very welcome and has over 20 years of experience. We were taken to see more than we expected, going to individual shops and went to see how ceramics are made from clay. Full day. Lots of good info. Sheref Aral was very professional and patient. We were on a private tour, just 2 of us with Sheref. Nice to bypass long lines with skip the lines access.
The tour was very disappointing. The tour guide (Shahnaz) did not provide much explanation; and most of the time was on her phone and left us wondering by ourselves.
