Je maakt een privérondleiding te voet met officiële gidsen, afgestudeerden in de geesteswetenschappen. Je toert door Toledo met een deskundige gids van de stad, met uitgebreide kennis in geschiedenis en kunst, die je de charme en essentie van de stad van de drie culturen zal laten zien. Je bezoekt de kathedraal van Toledo, het Museum van de Visigotische Raden, de Synagoge van Santa María la Blanca en de Kerk van Santo Tomé waar je het belangrijkste werk van El Greco kunt zien "De begrafenis van de Heer van Orgaz". Je bezoekt ook uitsluitend de archeologische overblijfselen van Toledo (Romeinse baden, waterput, Huis van de Jood), die niet toegankelijk zijn zonder gids en die je zullen helpen de oorsprong van de stad te begrijpen. De gids haalt je op bij het treinstation, het hotel waar je verblijft of op het Zocodover-plein. Een unieke kans om Toledo te leren kennen via de straten en monumenten.

We zullen dit volledig onbekende monument in de stad zien, maar een van mijn favorieten. Maandag gesloten
Synagoge uit de 12e eeuw, spectaculair, met zijn Almohad-decoratie. Prijs 4euro
Bezoek het beroemdste schilderij van GRECO, de begrafenis van de graaf van Orgaz, een prachtig werk. 4 euro prijs per persoon
Ondergronds Toledo, ontdekt in 2003. Het zijn overblijfselen uit de Romeinse tijd
Archeologische overblijfselen in de kelder, exclusieve ingang gesloten voor het publiek. Heel klein, maar het is een andere Toledo

Ricardo was lively, knowledgeable and very engaged on this walking tour. In addition to the typical sites, Ricardo was able to include access to older areas under ground that were fascinating. We were a group of 14 with different ages and interests. Ricardo kept the tour lively. Thanks.

The visit to Toledo with Ricardo was spectacular. It took us through the most beautiful parts of Toledo, we visited synagogues, churches, museums, monasteries and special places and not to be lost in the city, and an incredible viewpoint, accompanied by a narrative and knowledge of the history and details of the city. Very friendly and recommended. The whole town knows Ricardo!

Despite the weather, we had a great time exploring Toledo! Richard was very knowledgeable, as he went to school in the town. He knew all the great spots to take us, including an authentic shop with real swords and trinkets. Overall would highly recommend for a day in Toledo

It’s three hours of walking up and down the cobbled streets, but it’s worth the effort. Ricardo did a great job of adjusting the tour to see the sights we were especially interested in. Ricardo was engaging and informative and showed us some of Toledo’s hidden treasures.

Interesting city but felt a little rushed and it was weird to have to pay for taxi and tickets during the tour. Our guide was nice

Ricardo (Richard!) is a senior guide in Toledo and never stopped talking! But delightfully, knowledgeably and very selectively. He took us to see places which where not on the known tourist route as he had special access. One astonishing ex-church/mosque/church, now museum summarised Toledo by combining celtic, roman, visigoth, moor and christian architecture and decorations. Absolutely unique. He also quickly took us around the known tourist sights and did not miss out.
