Privérondleiding: Dagtrip Korcula en Ston vanuit Dubrovnik met wijnproeverij

Bezoek de badplaats Ston en het eiland Korčula tijdens een privétour en geniet van een flexibel reisschema, persoonlijk vervoer en een eigen gids voor vandaag! Nadat u Dubrovnik heeft verlaten, reist u langs het schiereiland Pelješac naar Ston voor een wandeltocht en vrije tijd voordat u naar Korčula vaart. Verken de oude binnenstad van het eiland om het huis te zien waar ontdekkingsreiziger Marco Polo is geboren en geniet van meer vrije tijd. Tot slot, eindig met een wijnproeverij bij een Potomje-wijnmakerij op het door de zon gezonken vasteland van Kroatië.

Uw privéchauffeur haalt u op voor uw accommodatie of gewenst ophaalpunt.
Leun daarna achterover en ontspan op de reis van 1 uur naar Ston terwijl u langs de schilderachtige kustweg reist. Gelegen aan de zuidkant van het schiereiland Pelješac, waar golven de kustlijn sjouwen, biedt de badplaats een prachtig uitzicht over de Kroatische eilanden. Geniet van vrije tijd in Ston en slenter door de gebouwen met terracotta daken en bougainvillea om de charme van de stad op te snuiven. Gebruik wat vrije tijd om de stadsmuren te bezoeken - de zogenaamde Grote Muur van Kroatië - en de oude zoutfabriek van de stad, of zoek een café en geniet van een Kroatische koffie zo rijk als het uitzicht (alle activiteiten op eigen kosten).
Ontmoet uw chauffeur en reis door wijngebieden en pittoreske gehuchten op weg naar Orebić, een havenstad en toegangspoort tot het eiland Korčula. Wissel uw vervoermiddel om van uw comfortabele voertuig naar een motorboot en reis over een stuk van de Adriatische Zee om het paradijselijke kleine eiland te bereiken.
Breng ongeveer 2 uur door met het verkennen van het eiland en geniet van de bezienswaardigheden.
Later in de middag steekt u de zee over naar het vasteland van Kroatië en reist u verder naar het kleine wijndorp Potomje. Bezoek een lokale wijnmakerij voor een wijnproeverij en proef de beroemde lichte en fruitige wijn van Kroatië terwijl je de regio leert kennen vanuit je gids. Het aantal geproefde monsters en variëteiten is afhankelijk van het wijnhuis dat u op de dag bezoekt. Reis vanuit Potomje terug naar Dubrovnik en sluit de dag af met een drop-off in je hotel.

Great day spent roaming several sites! Finished with a nice sampling of wine! Filip was great!
Our driver Ivan was very knowledgeable and shared great information! Was a little disappointed that many things in Korcula were closed and that there was no guide to provide information there
Our driver Ivan was amazing. He came on time and told us everything in detailed. Very good trip. Really worth visiting.
Our private tour could not have gone better! Our guide, Marin, was extremely knowledgeable and provided plenty of information about each of our stops on the tour. We felt we had plenty of time in Ston to see the town square and take pictures of the walls. We then moved on to Korcula, where we were picked up by a private water taxi which dropped us right in Korcula town. The day was then capped off with wine tasting and snacks at a local winery on the peninsula. Highly recommend this tour, it was one of our favorite days!
We were picked up 15 minutes late which didn’t seem a problem at the time but after an hours drive then found we only had 40 minutes in Ston which barely gave us time to scramble up the first part of the wall! Enjoyed great views of the fort, wall & salt farm but would have been nice to have the time to visit these attractions properly together with the old town - the guide offered no useful information regarding the history of Ston. Wall tickets are 70K per person & includes entry to the fort if you have time!! Next stop Korcula a further hour on - the guide announced we would have 3 hrs here but that he would not be joining us! He put us on the 10 minute boat ride. I can’t say I missed his company but it would have been nice to here some history / information on Marco Polo? Lovely walled old town, friendly locals & tasty albeit pricey seafood lunch. 45 minute stop at a vin-yard on the way back- would have preferred extra time in Ston! Great destinations but don’t expect much input from the guide!
<p>For lovers of wine and oysters this is a tour for you - with the bonus of visiting Korcula town and Ston. We got great information about the history of Ston and the wall of Ston. Oysters were different to those in Australia but still very yum Milos winery has excellent wines and olive oil. The wine maker gave us an informative tour of the family winery.Great day had by all</p>
<p>We had a private tour for our party of 5. We were told by our guide that there would be no tour guide for our time in Ston and Korcula. This apparently had to do with rules set by these locations. We were not given a map of either location nor had the key sights pointed out to us. So we were on our own. I got a dirty look when asked where the public washrooms where in Ston a very small town. We would have gone to the salt processing area had we known it was there. Our guide took us to a restaurant in Korcula that he repeatedly said was the only place with quality food. We did not eat there and had a great lunch anyway. We lost time trying to find places with Google maps. The time at the winery was great: excellent wines, we weren't rushed, nice place. Our guide boasted about himself employee of the month and did not give much information on the areas we drove through. He asked for feedback, then proceeded to read our comments in the car, then argued with our comments and suggestions. Very unprofessional.</p>
