Het flexibele schema en de gepersonaliseerde route van de tour stellen u in staat om uw reis af te stemmen op uw eigen interesses, waardoor u bij elke stap een betekenisvolle, leerzame en onvergetelijke ervaring kunt garanderen. OPMERKING : - De meeste musea zijn elke maandag en vrijdag gesloten. - Let op: geen tanktops en shorts (boven de knie). - De kosten voor de banden sandaal workshop zijn niet inbegrepen. Als u wilt deelnemen, hoeft u alleen het workshopgeld direct te betalen, er is geen betaling nodig voor de Gids.

(Schema is flexibel) Eerst halen we je op en gaan we naar het Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex. Een autovrij gebied met botanische tuinen, monumenten, gedenktekens en pagodes. Binnen het complex bevinden zich het Mausoleum van Ho Chi Minh, het Stilt House van Ho Chi Minh en het presidentiële paleis, het Ho Chi Minh-museum en de One Pillar Pagoda.
(Schema is flexibel) Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, gelegen in het hart van Ba Dinh Square, is de laatste rustplaats van president Ho Chi Minh, de geliefde Leider van het Vietnamese volk. De plechtige structuur is een van de belangrijkste historische en politieke bezienswaardigheden in Vietnam en trekt jaarlijks miljoenen bezoekers die hun respect komen betuigen.
(Schema is flexibel) Hoa Lo Prison, door Amerikaanse krijgsgevangenen vaak het “Hanoi Hilton” genoemd tijdens de Vietnamoorlog, is een krachtige historische site die een ontnuchterende blik biedt in het koloniale en oorlogsverleden van het land. Oorspronkelijk gebouwd door de Frans in de late 19e eeuw om Vietnamese revolutionairen gevangen te nemen, later hield de gevangenis Amerikaanse piloten gevangen tijdens de Vietnamoorlog. Vandaag de dag is slechts een deel van het oorspronkelijke complex overgebleven en is het omgebouwd tot een museum, met tentoonstellingen die de barre omstandigheden, verhalen over veerkracht en de ontembare geest van degenen die hier ooit gevangen zaten documenteren.

Je krijgt niet alleen de kans om zelf bandensandalen te maken, maar je zult ook verrast zijn over de betekenis en het verhaal achter Tire Sandal King (Optioneel) Opmerking : Gidsen zijn gratis, maar de ervaringskosten zijn NIET inbegrepen.
(Optioneel) Het Vietnam Women’s Museum brengt een prachtig gepresenteerd eerbetoon aan de vrouwen van Vietnam door de eeuwen heen. Er zijn tal van historische contexten naast een schat aan informatie over de modernere Vietnamese vrouw van vandaag

This is a program for free guides who are trying to practice English. Our guides ended up being two high school age local girls. It was super fun and one of the more immersive things we’ve done because you are just hanging out with them the locals as they explain sites to you. There English was also excellent which was the me our our main concerns going in. You also can’t beat the free price. Give it a try :)

If I could give 6 stars to our tour guide Duy, I would! We had an amazing day visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh museum and the Temple of Literature. Duy is very knowledgeable and shares information well beyond what can be learnt on your own. We also had very interesting conversations about the differences and similarities between our lives in Australia and his in Vietnam. I’m vegetarian and Duy found us an excellent restaurant for lunch and showed us how to serve and eat the dishes we ordered - the food was delicious. We are in our 60s and quite fit - whilst we did a lot of walking, it was at a good pace and plenty of stops along the way. Our tour started with Duy meeting us at our hotel at 8am and we ended back at our hotel after 3pm and every bit was so enjoyable. We felt we really expanded our understanding of Vietnam’s history and culture. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hanoi and definitely recommend Duy as an amazing guide!
