De essentie van Hanoi was te vinden op de meest gewone plaatsen, zoals bescheiden achterafcafés, lokale eetgelegenheden, gezinswoningen, scholen, tempels en markten die het hart van Hanoi vormen. Deel 1: Hanoi Hoogtepunten : (2 uur) U wordt begroet door de Gids en chauffeur in uw lobby van het hotel. Vervolgens rijden we naar het Ho Chi Minh Complex om een snel bezoek te brengen aan het Ho chi Minh mausoleum – het Mekka van Vietnamezen, Ba Dinh plein, Presidentieel Paleis, Ho Chi Minh woonwijk en One Pillar Pagoda. 1. Het Mausoleum van Ho Chi Minh Gesloten elke maandag en vrijdag, en jaarlijks van half juni tot half augustus. Vijf dagen per week (dinsdag, woensdag, donderdag, zaterdag, zondag en feestdagen) geopend voor bezoekers van 7.30 tot 10.30 uur. 2. Kunnen we Hanoi Train Street zien? Het bekijken van de trein door de beroemde Train Street is inbegrepen in alle middagtours, evenals maandag- en vrijdagochtendtours (wanneer het Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum gesloten is). Train Street dient ook als alternatieve activiteit als het Mausoleum gesloten is, of als je liever NIET in de lange wachtrij staat om binnen te komen.
Na het Ho Chi Minh-complex verhuizen we naar de Tempel van de Literatuur, een 1000 jaar oude iconische architectuur van Hanoi om meer te weten te komen over de lang bestaande Vietnamese cultuur en geschiedenis.
1 - Kunnen we Hanoi trein-straat zien? Kijken naar de trein die door de beroemde treinstraat rijdt : Deze is inbegrepen in de middagtours, evenals op maandag- en vrijdagochtendtours, aangezien het Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum gesloten is. Daarnaast dient Train Street als alternatief voor het Mausoleum op dagen dat het gesloten is of als je liever niet te lang in de rij staat om binnen te komen. 2 - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum sluit op maandag en vrijdag. En jaarlijks sluiten van half juni tot half augustus. Het mausoleum is 3 uur per dag geopend van 7.30 tot 10.30 uur en 5 dagen per week (dinsdag, woensdag, donderdag, zaterdag en zondag en op feestdagen).
Deel 2: Hanoi Hidden Gems : (2,5 uur) Verken de onbekende delen van Hanoi door te rijden door het doolhof van zigzaggende backstreet en smalle steegjes en markten. Duiken in de rivieren van motoren en Hanoi straat symfonie. Reizen met al je zintuigen verhoogd : Kijken, Horen, Aanraken, Proeven en glimlachen. Het ervaren van het GOEDE, het SLECHTE en het RARE van de stad zoals het is. Het ervaren van verschillende dia's van het leven achter de schermen, het verborgen deel van de ijsberg. Mensen ontmoeten waar ze wonen, werken, leren en bidden. Het opbouwen van persoonlijke connecties en cultuuruitwisselingen.
Tijdens de Hanoi Jeep Tour neemt de rit je mee langs de betoverende straten bij Truc Bach Lake en West Lake, de mooiste gebieden van de stad. U zult genieten van een verfrissende wind en een prachtig uitzicht dat de harmonie van de stad perfect vastlegt. Een speciale stop wordt gemaakt bij Tran Quoc Pagoda, de oudste boeddhistische tempel in Hanoi, waar u de tijdloze schoonheid kunt bewonderen en memorabele foto's kunt maken. Vanaf de oever van het meer ontvouwen zich panoramische uitzichten, die zowel de historische oude wijk als de moderne skyline van Hanoi laten zien.
Een schilderachtige kleine koffieshop in het hart van Hanoi Old Quarter. Alle meubels zijn creatief gemaakt van gerecyclede materialen. Hai was our guide for the day and we enjoyed his company. He was full of knowledge about the Hanoi history and culture. He also had funny and interesting stories to share with us. It was fun driving around in an old USA army jeep. I would recommend this tour when you visit.

We had the BEST morning exploring Hanoi city centre and seeing all the main sights from the most fun open air Jeep! Even though it was raining, the Jeep had a cover, so it actually turned out to be a fantastic way to experience the city. We could see the sights, smell and hear the city, watch local life going on around us and take everything in without constantly having to get in and out or worry about getting soaked. The Jeep itself was such a novelty and made the whole experience even more memorable. Our tour guide, **Danni**, was absolutely fantastic and honestly couldn’t have been better. We were travelling with our teenagers and they absolutely adored the trip, which I think was largely down to him. He was fun, easy-going, communicative and informative without ever making the tour feel like a history lesson! He made us laugh throughout and was just such lovely company. We enjoyed it so much that when we returned to Hanoi, we booked another tour with them, this time heading out into the countryside just outside the city. We travelled through the farms, saw a completely different side of Hanoi and even had a go at making our own pottery. Again, Danni made everything incredibly easy and relaxed. The kids were completely comfortable with him, and he was really flexible, even giving us different options for where we could eat. We genuinely couldn’t fault either tour. The combination of Danni, the open air Jeep and the experiences themselves made them really special. If they had offered more trips, we honestly would have booked those too! Our final stop ended with an absolutely fabulous meal in a wonderful restaurant, which was the perfect finish. **One of the highlights of our time in Vietnam and something I would 100% recommend, particularly to families travelling with teenagers. What a wonderful day exploring Hanoi with Tuna & Mr Louise from Hanoi Jeep Tours! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Our tour guide Tuna and driver Louis were amazing. Driving us through the backstreets of Hanoi and to some famous tours spots like train street, this definitely was an adventure.
