Neem deel aan deze privétour met je vrienden of familielid om de Merapi-vulkaan per jeep en prachtige zonsopgang op Punthuk Setumbu Hill te verkennen. Ook krijg je de kans om de beroemde Pawon tempel, Mendut tempel en Prambanan tempel te bezoeken.

Onze chauffeur cum gids haalt u op rond 3:45 uur van uw hotel lobby centraal gelegen Yogyakarta. Ga naar de eerste halte Punthuk Setumbu Hill. Geniet van zonsopgang op Punthuk Setumbu Hill.
Bezoek de Pawon-tempel, Pawon van het woord Per-awu-an (plaats die stof bevat), een tempel die het stof van een gecremeerde koning huisvest. Maar wie de persoon was die hier begraven is, is nog onbekend. Plaatselijke mensen noemen deze tempel "Bajranalan" op basis van de naam van het dorp.
Breng dan een bezoek aan Mendut Temple. Het werd gebouwd door koning Indra van de dynastie Syailendra. Rechthoekige tempel met veelkleurige daken versierde kleine stoepa's werden vroeger gebouwd dan de Pawon-tempel en de Borobudur-tempel. Anders dan de Borobudur-tempel tegenover de opkomende zon, staat de ingang van de tempel van Mendut tegenover het westen.
Vervolg je tocht door met een jeep naar de Merapi-vulkaan te gaan. Het is een van 's werelds meest actieve en gevaarlijke vulkanen. Het bevat een actieve lavakoepel, die regelmatig pyroclastische stromen produceert. Het is al 10.000 jaar actief. Deze vuurberg blijft een van de meest actieve en gevaarlijke vulkanen ter wereld.
Ten slotte bezoek je de mooiste hindoetempel Prambanan. Gebouwd in de 10e eeuw, is dit de grootste tempelcomplex gewijd aan Shiva in Indonesië. Boven het centrum van de laatste van deze concentrische vierkanten staan drie tempels versierd met reliëfs ter illustratie van het epos van de Ramayana, opgedragen aan de drie grote hindoegoden (Shiva, Vishnu en Brahma) en drie tempels gewijd aan de dieren die hen dienen. Na het afronden van genoemde bezienswaardigheden zal onze vriendelijke chauffeur u naar uw centraal gelegen hotel Yogyakarta brengen.

This is a magnificent 10+ trip. Tulus our guide is a rockstar. He knows everything and everybody. We were treated like a VIP by him and wherever we went. One of the very best guides we ever experienced. The temples, jeep tour and sunrise breakfast were unique. Travel with Tulus!!
The best organizer I ever met. Always on schedule, top activities, top private car, and very kind! We asked additionnally for the night ballet at Prambanan and we got it without problem for minimum extra charge
The morning far exceeded expectations. On arriving to the spot we would watch sunrise over Borobudur, we were surprised to see that we had a nice breakfast prepared for us and a man playing music for us while we ate. Our guide Tulus did a great job showing us around the temples and by request even brought us to a Batik school on the way back to town where we could buy Batik art without getting ripped off. The Jeep tour company that they work with was also great. Our Jeep guide basically did a photo shoot of us in an old US Army Jeep (apparently from WWII) overlooking the volcano.
Packed with things to do, very organized and responsive office. All went smoothly and had a great time throughout the tour. Totally recommended!
Excellent service clear meeting instructions. Vehicle and guide on time and waiting for us. Very professional guide Tulus, very informative on our travels and provided history of both towns we visited. We felt this tour was value for money and although the weather could have been kinder, It was a memorable experience.
Our guide Tulus was great, made sure that our day trip is comfortable, very knowledgeable and also give us lots of personal space as a couple. We definitely enjoyed the trip and recommend it. The jeep guide was also great in taking pictures and friendly, his name is Dani I believe, overall great experience.
Had such an amazing trip to see the Buddhist and Hindu Temples as well as a super fun jeep trip to see the volcano. Luckily there wasn't a ton of people at the sights, there of course was a handful but not an overwhelming amount. Maybe it's because of how hot it was! Also the jeep trip is super fun and the guide, Deny, was amazing! We were a little disappointed that we didn't go to the actual volcano, but nonetheless it was still a great time. But we had the most amazing guide for the whole trip, Tulus! He is so helpful and kind and we made a lot of pit stops with him that made the whole trip that much more amazing and unforgettable. We got to see smaller temples, stop at a local outside market, a chocolate factory and even a coffee shop that had the mongooses that produce their coffee. We couldn't have a had better guide for our first trip to Indonesia!
