Ontdek de lange geschiedenis van het Terracotta leger, de stadsmuur en de Grote Wilde Gans Pagode in Xi'an in één dag. Uw Gids haalt u op bij uw hotellobby en brengt u naar het Terracotta Krijgers- en Paardenmuseum. Het duurt een uur om daar aan te komen. U bezoekt de drie kuilen in het museum en de geselecteerde Collecties in de aangesloten tentoonstellingszaal. Het hele bezoek duurt meestal ongeveer twee en een half uur.
Rijd terug naar het centrum om de Big Wild Goose Pagoda te bezoeken, een belangrijke deelnemer langs de oude zijderoute in het vertalen en introduceren van het Indiase boeddhisme.
Later bezoek je de oude stadsmuur, de best bewaarde en grootste oude stadsmuur in China. Je gids vertelt je verhalen en de geschiedenis over dit schitterende relikwie. Misschien wilt u ook een fiets huren om op de muur te rijden. De toegangsprijs en de fietsverhuur zijn voor eigen rekening. Na het beëindigen van de dagtour begeleiden uw gids en chauffeur u terug naar uw hotel.
Bezoek daarna de Moslimwijk. Er zijn verschillende soorten snacks en halal voedsel. Ondertussen zie je dat er in deze straat veel ambachtelijke souvenirs te koop zijn. Ten slotte wordt u teruggebracht naar het hotel

We booked the private Xi’an terracotta warriors, wild goose pagoda, City wall and Muslim quarter tour. Sophie was our travel consultant. She was quick to respond and answered any questions I had. Booking process was relatively easy. Celine was our guide for the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable about the terracotta warriors and knew the best ways to make the most of the visit despite the crowds. The tour was a good pace and we enjoyed it. Thank you Celine for the lunch suggestions! Our driver was pretty good. Unfortunately we forgot his name. Highly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic day with Carol exploring Xi’an We had such a brilliant day visiting the Terracotta Army and seeing the highlights of Xi’an with Carol as our guide. From start to finish she was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly well organised, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Carol explained the history of the Terracotta Warriors in a really interesting and easy-to-understand way, bringing everything to life rather than it just feeling like a museum visit. She also made sure we avoided the busiest areas where possible and helped us make the most of our time there. Afterwards she showed us around the city and introduced us to local food and culture we definitely wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Nothing felt rushed and she was always happy to answer questions and adapt the day to suit us. Carol was warm, professional and genuinely lovely to spend the day with. Excellent tour. Our guide contacted us in advance and meet us at our hotel at the specified time. During the ride to the Warriors, Roger, our guide, shared the history related to the warriors which made seeing the warriors much more meaningful. For lunch, Roger selected an excellent restaurant that catered to our food preferences. The rest of the day was a living history lesson with visits to the City Wall and Goose Pagoda. Roger also organized a special evening dinner for us. We were so pleased!

This tour was terrific from beginning to end. The sites we visited were amazing, but what truly brought them to life was our excellent guide, Roger. He was a fountain of information on Xi'an, the terracotta warriors, and the dynasties of ancient China, and he related all this pertinent information not as a historian, but as one passionate about these topics. I visited the warriors last year but without Roger at my side; what a difference it makes to have such a knowledgable guide along! He was also very personable, and we had numerous friendly conversations with him about all sorts of things. How fortunate you will be if you get to go to wonderful Xi'an and have Roger as your guide.

Lola our English-Mandarin bilingual guide and our Chinese-speaking guide led our multi-gen family group on a full-day tour of the terracotta warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim street. For travellers with better mobility you might be able to squeeze in the city walls on the same day but for us, we took our time so our older family members could move along at a more leisurely pace. Lola also facilitated our hotel to bullet train station transfers the following day and on our return to Xian from Luoyang on the bullet train.

I had a wonderful 1 day private tour with Lily. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable. They accommodated my request to change the Small Goose Pagoda for the Shaanxi History Museum. (A definite must see, especially after the Terracotta Warriors). She gave me such interesting facts but tied it into the history of the time. It gave things such a deeper understanding. I felt like I was on a tour with a friend and didn't feel rushed. We had talked casually and she learned I take part in tea ceremony. For lunch she surprised me with a lovely tearoom. That small detail meant so much to me. I would encourage anyone to take a tour with Lily!

We couldn't have been happier with our tour. We were picked up on time in a well air-conditioned car. Sunny had a wonderful personality and made the tour very enjoyable for us. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour again. She managed to give us great information but also got along well with my 21-year old son.
