Je gaat naar het westelijke district van het Gouvernement Gizeh om de enorme structuren te verkennen die behoren tot de grote farao's van het oude koninkrijk in Dahshour en Sakkara. En verken ook de eerste hoofdstad in Memphis, Egypte.

Onze Egypt Select Tours gids zal je ontmoeten en overbrengen van het hotel naar Dahshur. Het piramidedomein van Dahshur ligt ongeveer 10 km ten zuiden van Saqqara.
Dan ga je kijken naar het complex van Saqqara, die toebehoort aan koning Zoser en zijn stappenpiramide, die wordt beschouwd als de eerste piramide in Egypte en het eerste uit de rotsen gesneden gebouw in de geschiedenis.
Verder naar Memphis (een van de oude Egyptische hoofdsteden tot ongeveer 2.200 voor Christus), dat een cultcentrum was voor God Ptah, de god van de schepping en kunstwerken, je zult er veel tempels en monumenten voor hem vinden. Na deze reis wordt u naar uw hotel gebracht

Mrs Nahed was a very good guide, she answered all our questions, and we saw a lot, even got to go inside the pyramids. She speaks German very well. Many thanks also to our driver who got us safely through the traffic from Cairo. Only the paper mill we would omit.

Very pleasant experience of the trip with incredible guide, Adel, who have took us through the history of the pyramids and the time they were build. One can ask and discuss any related subject and will always get a very deep and interesting story from Adel.

Adel provided a very knowledgeable trip to these wonderful sites. We were particularly interested in the Serapeum at Saqqara and Adel kindly added this to the itinerary for us. Having a dedicated guide was invaluable and allowed us to get to know Adel and learn much more about modern Egyptian life and culture. We booked multiple tours during our 7 days, and this one was, by far, the best tour we had, and it wasn’t very close. Our tour guide, Adel, was absolutely AMAZING. His knowledge of the sites was second to none, he was able to answer all of our questions, and we had a lot. You could spend days at each of these sites and still not see everything. What made Adel so great was his ability show and explain the highlights to make it feel like you didn’t miss anything. If we go back to Egypt, without a doubt, we will be booking through Select Tours and Adel. I cannot say enough good about this trip. Thank you so much!!!

Our trip to Sakkara and Memphis was the highlight of our Cairo visit, all thanks to Adel Abdallah. Not only do they know their history inside and out, but they are also a pro photographer! We walked away with amazing shots of the Step Pyramid that we never would have found on our own. Adel Abdallah made sure we were comfortable the whole day, providing cold water and keeping us away from the aggressive vendors. We felt totally safe and well-cared for. If you want a guide who feels like a friend and knows all the "secret" spots to avoid the 2026 tourist crowds, book Adel Abdallah immediately!
