Very convenient and overall a wonderful experience — Phyllis, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and did a great job sharing info about all the sites we visited. It was also really nice to be picked up directly from our hotel and dropped off there as well. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Perfect place and good food and mood

We drove to the lake from Taipei. The driver Mickey picked us up at our hotel and he was very prompt. The drive was smooth and the vehicle was an upgrade so we had very good space. Mickey make great recommendations and was very pleasant for the whole trip. He even offered karaoke for the drive back which was very entertaining. We had rain and he provided umbrellas as needed. Mickey spoke english which made the communication easy. The destination itself was simply amazing. Very beautiful with a nice variety of options. We did not do the biking along the lake due to the rain but we were able to do the boat ride. The only down side was the boat captain never spoke English when we were make the trip across the lake. Otherwise the whole experience was phenomenal!

The tour itself was nice although the Sun Moon Lake is hyped up on social media. We did the obligatory boat trip and the ropeway. The Wenwu temple was nice. Our driver Martin was good but nodded off at the wheel a few times in the morning while going to the lake, which made us very anxious. He nearly crashed into the car in the next lane at one point. I think the tour company needs to take this seriously and take appropriate measures.

Our private driver, Justin briefed us the detailed schedule for the day which helped us stayed on track. As it was the first time to Taiwan for some of us, Justin shared many useful information about Sun Moon Lake that helped us to navigate around. After a nice local lunch (at own cost), we proceeded with a bicycle ride around Sun Moon Lake to appreciate the scenery and bonding with my family too. We ended the day with a safe ride back to the hotel. Throughout the day, Justin took care of us and ensured our travel needs come first.

Justin was our driver and guide for this tour. He communicated with us in advance. He picked us up promptly from our hotel. Two main attractions on this tour are Sun Moon Lake and the Wenwu temple. Both are spectacular! The weather was just perfect. Justin guided us well. He made sure that he covered everything we wanted to see. Really a great experience!

I totally recommend this excursion. Our guide Ryan made our day perfect. It took us to all the points we wanted to see Pagoda Hundred, Wenwu Temple and we could also do activities we wanted to do, the spectacular bike trail.
