Alle tours zijn door de eigenaar beheerd! Maximaal 7 personen kunnen worden ondergebracht op tour. Deze volledige dagtour neemt u mee rond het prachtige Kaapse schiereiland, langs de wereldberoemde stranden van Clifton en Camps Bay, door Hout Bay en langs Chapman's Peak drive. Stop bij de struisvogelboerderij voordat u naar het meest zuidwestelijke puntje van Afrika gaat, Kaap de Goede Hoop. Neem de kabelbaan naar Cape Point vuurtoren. Daarna zien we pinguïns op Boulders Beach waarna we lunchen in Simon's Town. Tour gaat verder over Boyes Drive met uitzicht op False Bay en een korte stop bij de Shark Spotters uitkijkpost. Laatste deel van de tour is de Constantia Valley wijnroute waar we een van de mooiste wijndomeinen bezoeken voor een wijnproeverij. Een alternatief is ook om de tour omgekeerd te doen en te eindigen met een bierproeverij in Noordhoek Village.

Tour begint in de stad en het eerste aandachtspunt is het passeren van de stadionbouw voor FIFA Wereldbeker voetbal 2010.
Onze eerste stop 15 minuten na het verlaten van de stad zal zijn in Maidens Cove, waar je de kans hebt om een foto te nemen of twee van het prachtige strand van Camps Bay en Twelve Apostles die langs de achterkant van de Tafelberg loopt.
Prachtige Llundudno is ook waar de rijken en beroemdheden verblijven. Formule 1-wereldkampioen, Michael Schumacher gebruikt om hier tijd door te brengen in zijn privévakantiehuis.
We rijden door Clifton, dat wordt beschouwd als het duurste onroerend goed in Afrika, met objecten die USD12.000.000 bereiken.
Beoordeeld als een van de meest schilderachtige drives ter wereld. Deze 13 km lange pas met zijn 114 bochten en bochten werd gebouwd tussen 1915-1922. We stoppen bij het uitkijkpunt met uitzicht over Hout Bay, Duiker Island Seal Colony en Kommetjie.
Dit moet het grootste strand in de West-Kaap zijn. Populair voor paardrijden en surfen. Vanaf het uitkijkpunt boven het strand kun je zien tot aan False Bay.
Hout Bay was een populaire plek in 1652 toen de Nederlanders kwamen om een bevoorradingsstation in Kaapstad op te zetten. Ze gebruiken om daar hout te halen om schepen te herstellen en te gebruiken voor de bouw. Tegenwoordig is het een kleine vissersboothaven.

Wanneer je naar Kaapstad komt, is dit een must see. Het park heeft 1094 inheemse plantensoorten, een paar dieren namelijk, Bontebok, Eland, Zebra, Struisvogel, Duiker, Caracal, Bavianen enz. Als je hier in augustus tot december bent, dan zul je zeker enkele prachtige bloemen in bloei zien. We gaan naar het meest zuidwestelijke punt van Afrika waar je thee en koffie krijgt plus een koekje / koekje. Bekend als de Cape of Storms, de oceaan hier in de buurt is altijd een prachtig gezicht.
Als je een surfer bent, zou je eerder van dit strand gehoord hebben. Populair klein dorp tijdens het hippietijdperk en nog steeds een zeer relaxte plek. We zullen hier onze eerste toiletpauze hebben (omdat het schoon is) en op het houten dek gaan staan om de schoonheid van deze plek vast te leggen en een surfer of twee te zien die hun magie op de golven uitvoeren.
Dit is de leuke stop van de tour. Bezoek de winkel waar ze alle mooie producten verkopen die gemaakt zijn van struisvogelleer, geschilderde schelpen enz. Het plezier begint wanneer je de mogelijkheid hebt om de struisvogels te voeren. Dit zorgt voor veel gelach en goede fotomomenten.
We gaan naar de vuurtoren op de enige commerciële kabelbaan in Afrika. Eenmaal op de top klimmen we 114 treden naar de oude vuurtoren 238m boven zeeniveau, gebouwd in 1859, vanwaar je verwend wordt met de meest spectaculaire uitzichten in Kaapstad. Vanuit een van de andere uitkijkpunten kunt u een glimp opvangen van de nieuwe vuurtoren uit 1919, ooit de machtigste ter wereld met 19 miljoen kaarsenkracht.
De lunch is op loopafstand van de pinguïnkolonie. Normaal bij Seaforth Restaurant, maar dit verandert afhankelijk van dieetwensen of zitplaatsen beschikbaar.
Een korte stop op Boyes Drive bij de Shark Spotters-hut voor een uitzicht naar het strand van Muizenberg. Dit is ook het einde van False Bay en vanaf hier kun je Cape Point en Hangklip aan de andere kant van de baai zien liggen. Van juni tot november is het bezoeken van walvissen een mogelijkheid.
Een van de 9 wijnroutes in Zuid-Afrika met zijn 11 landgoederen die u kunt bezoeken voor een proeverij. We bezoeken een van deze boerderijen waar u de keuze hebt tussen het proeven van wit en rood. Het gebied staat bekend om zijn Sauvignon-cultivar, die houdt van de koele zeebries die tijdens de zomermaanden uit False Bay blaast. Na een luie middag van proeven gaan we terug naar de stad waar je rond 5 uur wordt afgezet bij je hotel of andere accommodatie.
Een must see wanneer in Kaapstad. Afrikaanse pinguïns begonnen deze kolonie in 1982 en vandaag zijn er iets meer dan 2000 vogels op dit strand. In november / december wordt het een beetje stinken met de meeste vogels die 3 weken lang in hun moutstadium zijn. Deze vogels staan op de beschermde soortenlijst en de aantallen vallen helaas nog steeds weg. Ze zorgen altijd voor een goede lach met hun grappige waggelen en vreemde dingen waar ze mee bezig zijn.

We had a wonderful day with Ian. He's charming, knowledgeable and took us to the most amazing sites on the Cape. We cannot recommend highly enough. There is no better way to see this area than with Ian.

Just back from a wonderful holiday in South Africa made all the more special by African Moon Adventures run by Ian. We went on two private tours, Cape Point, Boulders Beach penguins and brewery tour and West Coast Safari, olive and beer and wine tasting tour. We were only in Cape Town for a few days and wanted a tour that got the most activities in...and THIS WAS THE ONE. Ian is an exceptional guide..funny and knowledgeable. We had some rain at the start and end of the tour but it didn't matter as we still got to see all the sights. Ian's timing of the attractions was great as when we stopped at different places it wasn't crowded or full of other tours so we were able to take our time and take in the breat taking scenery. This tour has it all. I loved all the animals we saw along the way..baboons, ostriches, penguins,a dassi and peacocks! Funusyed off the day with some beautiful wine tastings. You should definitely do this tour!

This tour was everything and more! Ian did an amazing job showing us around all the beautiful beaches, cliff sides, and scenic areas we didn’t even know existed. We had so much fun taking pictures (he is also an excellent photographer), feeding ostriches, visiting the cutest penguins, and had an amazing lunch followed by a visit to a local winery. Ian is extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around for the day which is a bonus. Thanks so much Ian for showing us southern girls around, we loved it!

My husband and I really enjoyed our day trip with Ian. In spite of some variable weather, the tour and sites didn’t disappoint and we particularly enjoyed the Cape of Good Hope, Chapmans Peak and Boulders Beach (penguins) and the wine tasting., Ian was friendly, informative and considerate. Just finished an outstanding day tour with Ian. Ian was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a brilliant time just chatting with him about averting from history, politics and culture.
