Deze gastronomische ervaring neemt je mee van het hart van een lokale voedselmarkt naar het dek van een privécruise op de rivier. Onder leiding van Aurélien — een sommelier envoormalig lerares Engels met een duidelijk en natuurlijk accent — gaat deze ervaring verder dan een typische marktrondleiding. Begin je avontuur in een charmante boetiek waar je lokale specialiteiten zoals Lillet en regionale delicatessen proeft. Volg dan je Gids door de Chartrons markt. Terwijl u de bezienswaardigheden, geuren en verhalen in u opneemt, verzamelt uw Gids een zorgvuldig geselecteerde selectie van gastronomische producten: oesters, geroosterde kip, kaas, vleeswaren en gebak — het beste van Zuidwest-Frankrijk, in één mand. Stap vervolgens aan boord van een privéboot voor een cruise van 90 minuten op de rivier de Garonne. Terwijl de stad voorbij drijft, geniet u van uw marktfeest in combinatie met lokale Bordeaux-wijnen. Dit is uw moment om te ontspannen, proeven en genieten van de schoonheid van de stad vanuit een nieuw perspectief.

Uw reis begint aan de voet van La Cité du Vin. Vanaf dit perfecte startpunt ontdekt u de verborgen verhalen en het fascinerende erfgoed van de historische haven van Bordeaux, ooit de bruisende toegangspoort die de wereldwijde wijnreputatie van de stad vestigde.
Na ons bezoek aan een lokale speciaalzaak wandelen we langs de charmante kades van de wijk Chartrons, waar elegante 18e-eeuwse gevels het rijke wijnhandelserfgoed van Bordeaux onthullen.
We verkennen de levendige boerenmarkt van Chartrons langs de oever van de Garonne, waar lokale producenten de beste seizoensproducten en regionale specialiteiten van Bordeaux presenteren.
Vervolgens gaan we aan boord voor een ontspannen 90 minuten durende cruise langs de Garonne, waar u kunt genieten van de marktdelicatessen die we hebben verzameld in combinatie met geselecteerde lokale wijnen terwijl u geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op Bordeaux vanaf het water.

Our experience was amazing! Aurelien, our guide was personable, passionate and very informative. We visited a shop specific to the foods of Bordeaux, which we enjoyed very much, and then strolled the Farmer's Market. Afterwards, we travelled the River and enjoyed a delicious variety of oysters and snacks procured by Aurelien from the farmer's market that day, but prior to our tour. It was very hot, and the market had closed earlier than expected which was a bit of a bummer for us as we wished to return to make some more purchases. But, there was time to purchase things while on the tour, and the fact it was so hot and the market closed early was no fault of Aurelien. My husband and I, and our two young adult children went on the tour, and we all enjoyed it very much! We would all highly recommend it!

Our tour was amazing. Aurelien was so friendly and fun! It was educational and enjoyable. We could go at a nice pace at the market, and learned some history of Bordeaux. The river cruise was very nice and the snacks, including the oysters-all from the market we visited, were delicious and “hit the spot”. A beautiful way to experience Bordeaux!
