Eugene provided an excellent tour, taking in many of the landmarks of central Cardiff. Despite having lived in Cardiff my entire life, I learned plenty of new facts and heard some great stories of how the City has changed and developed over the years. Eugene was professional, friendly and knowledgeably - all delivered with great humour. Thoroughly recommend this tour to all!
While visiting Wales recently, we had a walking tour of the city with Eugene Fogarty. If you are lucky enough to travel to Cardiff, a delightful city, we strongly recommend that you hook up with Eugene. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable and knew all the right places to visit. A pleasure to spend a couple of hours with! And, he has a wonderful set of interesting life experiences.
We had an absolutely fantastic tour in Cardiff in January with Eugene. The experience was incredibly enjoyable and informative from start to finish. Eugene took the time to explain everything in great detail, answered all of our questions with enthusiasm, and shared so much knowledge about the city and its history. He is a brilliant guide—passionate, engaging, and genuinely interested in making sure everyone gets the most out of the tour. Unfortunately, I was leaving Cardiff that same day and couldn’t join another one of his tours, otherwise I definitely would have. What an amazing experience!! We have lived in Wales for long time and feel if you want to know about Cardiff then this is the tour to go on. The tour starts at a central location and it is easy to find. He started on time. He covers a good mix of history, landmarks, language, food and culture - in perfect balance. He keeps the audience engaged with questions and general chit chat. It was not too tiring as there were plenty of stops. We have been on lots of walking tours and this is the one that sets standards. The tour itself is free and one can give a donation at the end if one wants. The money people give at the end varies. Eugene does not seem bothered by it. Not paying him for such an amazing experience is silly. Thank you Eugene. Don't change a thing!

Eugene was a great communicator before the tour. The weather was iffy but we went ahead and it turned out to be well worth the time! The tour was thorough and interesting and made it relevant to the time we already spent in Cardiff.
