Bath ligt op het eiland Somerset en heeft de enige natuurlijke bron in heel Groot-Brittannië. Bath was inderdaad eeuwenlang beroemd als een warmwaterbroncentrum voor de Romeinen. Van het Elizabethiaanse tot het Georgische tijdperk was Bath vooral voor de rijken, wat resulteerde in een unieke verzameling Georgische architectuur (met name de Satellite Crescent). In 1987 werd de stad uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed. We spent 2 hours with our guide Alison. She was very nice and knowledgeable. Bath is a great city and Alison knows everything about it. We would definitely recommend the tour and the tour guide.

We had a lovely leisurely tour around Bath. We popped into the Roman baths but they aren’t included in the tour. Tony was super friendly and knowledgeable and sprinkled in Bridgerton and Jane Austin facts which was super fun.
