Deze ervaring biedt de enige directe tour van Bath naar Stonehenge. De rit naar Stonehenge duurt iets minder dan een uur per enkele reis. We gebruiken luxe minibussen met grote panoramische ramen, airconditioning en comfortabele stoelen om ervoor te zorgen dat uw reis ontspannen en plezierig is. Onderweg wijst de chauffeur/gids u op alle bezienswaardigheden, van panoramische uitzichten op de Salisbury Plains tot Celtic Hill Forten en rietgedekte dorpen. Op een heldere dag kunt u zelfs het beroemde Westbury White Horse zien - een van de Chalk Hill Carvings van het oude Wessex.

Je bent minimaal 2 uur in Stonehenge. Dit is voldoende tijd om Stonehenge goed te zien en te genieten van de souvenirwinkel, het café en de tentoonstellingsruimte in het bezoekerscentrum. De chauffeur/gids sorteert uw tickets bij aankomst en legt de lay-out van de site uit. Tijd in Stonehenge is aan jou om in je eigen tempo te genieten. Audiogidsen zijn beschikbaar in 10 verschillende talen voor gebruik rond de stenen, deze zijn gratis maar onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid.
Op een heldere dag kunnen we het Westbury White Horse zien, een kalkheuvel uit de jaren 1770. Onze route biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de Salisbury Plain en de Avon Valley, en passeert Cley Hill, het fort en de grafheuvel uit de ijzertijd.
We zien huisjes met rieten daken en een historisch gevangenishuis als onderdeel van onze reis.

Great stories on the way there. Great driver. A great and very special experience to see Stonehenge. Appreciated it was only half a day.
Perfect excoursion for half a day from Bath. The guide was entertaining and knowledgebable about Stonehedge. The transport was on time and easy to reach from the city center. Overall a lovely experience.
Sally is so hospitable. She is warm and funny, and made our journey to and from Stonehenge so worthwhile! This is the tour to take when in Bath. You will miss out on the kindest soul ever, and of course the beautiful landscape and history! The stay was the perfect length and we lucked out on the weather and missed the crowds since we were first in.
Highly recommend! Stonehenge tour was very interesting, well worth the time. I’d recommend the audio app, helps explain the history and timetables. Scarper Tours was very efficient, comfortable ride, departed and returned right on time, friendly driver, fun facts of the countryside shared during the ride to Stonehenge, took care of the entrance tickets and explained the 3 components of the tour with hints of how best to enjoy the experience! Cost was the best of the tours we looked into. Scarpers Tours added a van for our group of 9 (others would not). Perfect sized van, made it easy for everyone to get on/off and back to the van on time.
Sally was great! She was friendly and really knowledgeable. The ride was comfortable and Stonehenge was beautiful. We had two hours on site with an hour drive there and back. It was the perfect amount of time at the site.

I was with my daughter, who wasn’t even 10 years old, so it was the right thing to do this morning only tour! I came back to Bath at 13:00 and they wanted to go back to the inn and take a break. The heat this summer is especially baffling for children… It’s less humid than in Japan, but the sun is much stronger. I couldn't really hear your name, but the male tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained it in very easy to understand English, which was very helpful.
We agree, our half-day tour is a great option, you can see Stonehenge and still have time to relax when you get back to Bath. Thank you for this lovely review, and happy travels!
The hour ride there and back to Stonehenge was quaint, and our guide gave some good commentary on the beautiful countryside. You get two hours at Stonehenge, which I didn't entirely at the physical monument. There is an extra exhibit there should you not need that much time out in the sun looking at old rocks. Overall, a very pleasurable experience and would go back if I were in the area!

It was a very convenient and nice way to get to Stonehenge. We got plenty of time to explore there. Richard was a very friendly and good tour guide/driver. He spoke about the scenery we passed on the drive and even passed around pictures of other things he brought up. It was a very nice trip.

The experience was great. The tour is very complete and is well worth it. We went from Bath and they picked us up right in the city center. The trip to Stonehenge was very pleasant because the guide, who was very professional, kept telling us stories about the city and the places we were passing through. Likewise, with the tour we avoided the access lines to the site, which saved us time. We were very satisfied with the experience, honestly. We recommend it 100%.
