De tour volgt niet de standaard toeristische route, maar toont ook het lokale leven en de woongebieden rond de rivier de Aker. We zijn allemaal inheemse Scandinaviërs met een grote interesse in de cultuur en geschiedenis van ons land. We zijn vooral gepassioneerd over het geven van bezoekers de mogelijkheid om alles wat Oslo te bieden heeft te verkennen, met inbegrip van de spectaculaire omliggende fjord - en bosgebied, en de fascinerende landelijke en stedelijke cultuur en geschiedenis van de stad. Al onze chauffeursgidsen zijn formeel opgeleide en gecertificeerde gidsen. We hebben ook een educatieve en professionele achtergrond die ons uitgebreid inzicht heeft gegeven in andere facetten van de Noorse samenleving zoals industrie, handel en kunst. Entreebewijs inbegrepen. Begeleid bezoek aan "Het beste museum van Noorwegen"! Betreed het Fram Ship uit 1892. Poolonderzoek was belangrijk eind 1800 en begin 1900. Er was een race om de Noordpool en de Zuidpool te veroveren. In het Poolmuseum bevind je je in de dramatische poolgeschiedenis.
Rondleiding! Enkele kilometers ten westen van het stadscentrum ligt het grote Vigeland Sculpture Park, dat de hele dag en nacht geopend is voor het publiek. De honderden sculpturen voor buiten illustreren de cirkel van het leven. We geven je graag een rondleiding door het park.
Om u een overzicht van Oslo te geven, gaan we naar het uitkijkpunt Ekeberg Park. Hier wijzen we op de haven, het operagebouw, het fort, het stadhuis, het koninklijk paleis, Holmenkollen en het middeleeuwse park.
Ons trotse middeleeuwse kasteel en fort uit 1300 domineert in de richting van de fjord.
In tegenstelling tot het moderne barcodegebied stoppen we bij het Hipster & Street-kunstgebied in het lagere deel van de rivier Aker.
Uit de menigte, dicht bij de "inheemse" Oslo-burgers. Bekijk en loop de trappen in de buurt van de indrukwekkende Aker-rivierwaterval en voel de 19e-eeuwse industriegeschiedenis. Bezoek het kleine piepkleine Lovisa's café voor een kopje koffie of/en een wafel?
De indrukwekkende Holmenkollen-skischans (het kleine skimuseum is niet inbegrepen) ligt tussen de fjord en het bos. Het bos heet Oslo Marka en is ons belangrijkste recreatiegebied, vooral in de winter omdat we van skiën houden. We nemen je mee naar de Holmenkollen-heuvel om ons nationale symbool van skiën en uitzicht op de stad te zien. Let op: toegangsprijs voor het Skimuseum, de springtoren, Zip Line en de Ski Simulator zijn inbegrepen. ALS ER NIET IN DE RIJ IS, KUNNEN WE DE TOREN BEZOEKEN (NOK 160 volwassene (16 EUR))
We passeren ons trotse operagebouw dat als een ijsberg uit de fjord rijst.
Gezicht op het grote paleis en het beeldhouwwerk van 1800 honderden koning Karl Johan op zijn paard.

Opmerking: geen ticket nodig, naam alleen voor hoofdreiziger. We tonen een ophaalposter of iPad/mobiele telefoon. Opmerking: we bieden ophaalservice aan bij alle hotels en adressen in Oslo in Oslo. De starttijd is flexibel voor privérondleidingen. Cruisehaven? Maak je geen zorgen, geef ons de scheepsnaam en we weten waar je aanmeert. Zoek naar het bord 'Noorwegen Exclusief' met uw naam achter de beveiligingspoort. Als u wordt opgehaald op Oslo Airport OSL, zoek dan naar ons bord met uw naam of als u het gemist heeft, ga dan naar de Transportinformatiebalie in de aankomsthal (sla rechtsaf na de douane). OSL ligt op 49 km van Oslo. Als je daar wordt opgehaald, wordt de bezichtigingstijd met 1,5 uur verkort, of we kunnen een uitgebreid tijdschema aanbieden.

I highly recommend this tour! The driver picked me up and returned me to my hotel. The tour was tailored to my interests. The driver explained the city, the culture, and the history of the city. It could not have been any more enjoyable or informative. I recommend without reservation!

Svein is a great guide both before and during our day with him. We first started planning with him in January 2020 for a trip originally planned for June 2020. Both pandemic and my wife having heart surgery meant a change in plans. Very responsive via email. He took time to understand our interests and specific needs. He offered us alternatives and advised us on issues we might encounter. We rearranged for June 2021 and finally our trip took place June 2022. Changes of dates were handled smoothly. Payment via PayPal invoice 7 days before our trip was easy. Svein he and delivered Oslo Cards to our hotel. On Sunday he was on time and waiting for us on hotel reception. He tailored our day on the fly allowing us to see his local neighbourhood, meet a gu in de at Kistfoss and allow us to see fjord views from a highview point. He is very knowledgeable about Oslo, it's surrounds and Norway. Excellent English. Well travelled so able to offer a Norway perspective on world matters. Very comfortable car. The private tour went well. Svein upgraded us to a super comfortable minibus for the 6 of us, and gave us many added value services. The best part was our tour guide Helene. She was very knowledgeable about Oslo. Great storyteller and she explained everything not only well but with such enthusiasm and fervor that even my octogenarian parents were engaged! Our family of 7 booked a private tour of Oslo and Svein Jarle was our guide for the day. He was quick to reach out after our booking to ask what we wanted to see to ensure we would get the most out of the day. A few days before the tour he reached out to ensure we were all set - told us he was upgrading us to a 13- seat van and was also getting us an Oslo pass in case of rain so we can visit museums (all at no extra charge). On the day of the tour he picked us up even earlier so we could spend more time exploring the city. We had a great driving tour of the city's highlights, made a stop at the Opera house, went to a great vista point with the view of the whole city, visited the Vigeland sculpture park, went to the Fram museum, the Viking Ship museum and the ski jump. We absolutely enjoyed our time with Svein Jarle, who provided a lot of useful facts and commentary about the city and the history, without it being overwhelming.
