Deze legendarische tour neemt je mee door Noorwegens meest adembenemende, door UNESCO beschermde fjorden- en berglandschap, inclusief de mooiste treinreizen van Europa. U zult ook genieten van een fjord cruise op de prachtige Aurlandsfjord en op de smalle Nærøyfjord. Dit is een eenrichtings tour, van Oslo, naar Myrdal naar Flåm naar Gudvangen naar Voss en vervolgens naar Bergen.

U zult zelf van uw hotel naar het centraal station van Oslo moeten komen - spring op uw trein.
Vanuit Oslo kom je aan op het Myrdal-station, daar moet je overstappen en op Flamsbana springen, deze trein gaat naar Flam. - Een treinreis als geen ander. Dit wonder van techniek neemt je mee van de fjord naar de bergtop terwijl het klimt van Flam op zeeniveau naar het bergstation van Myrdal op 862 meter boven zeeniveau.
Je neemt een veerboot van Flam naar Gudvangen en je ervaart de mooiste fjord van Noorwegen - Sognefjord.
Je komt met de veerboot aan in Gudvangen en van daaruit neem je de bus naar Voss met een prachtig uitzicht.
Na aankomst in Voss heb je genoeg tijd voor een café of een kijkje nemen in de Voss Church (bouwjaar 1277). Vanaf Voss moet u de trein naar Bergen nemen, einde van uw reis. (EINDE ROUTE IS IN BERGEN)

Train from Oslo was Great, variety of scenery. Worth doing rather than by coach. Changed trains to the Flam railway from Myrdal to Flam. It was interesting but not as stunning as I thought it would be. It was very busy too. Lovely waterfalls along the way with one Photo stop. Flam was a busy little place until the crowds left and it was beautifully quiet in the evening for a walk along the waters edge.

Self guided tour instructions should be more detailed. We had difficulty finding the bus in Gudvangen, it was out in the road, not in the lot with all the other buses.

Fantastic scenery and experience, but book through somebody other than Viator. Do not trust Viator to make this booking. My wife and I booked just under 7 months prior to our trip. Yet we were seated 35 seats apart from each other
Dear Hennie, I am so sorry again for the inconvenience with the train seats in the first train from Oslo to Myrdal. However, please note, that it is not the fault of Viator or our company, but of the train company in Norway. They made an unpredictable change of seats even though the tickets were booked very well in advance. We have contacted them many times, asked for possible solutions, but, unfortunately, these attempts were not successful. It is a wonderful way to see the highlights of Norway in a very short time. Having said that, the experience last over 12 hours and is certainly exhausting toward the end.

Started in Oslo, finding train was easy; but it wasn't the advertised train. Our seats faced backwards, and there was no dining car. Views were enjoyable with stops for stretching and picture taking. The Flam train was awesome. The ferry ride was easy to find, and had beautiful scenery. The bus pick up in Gudvangen, was not efficiently designed. The busses showed up late. Several busses for different tour groups showed up at once, with poor signage. Each bus driver had to scan the tickets to verify who would ride on that particular bus However, there was plenty of room on the bus. The tickets should display a bus number, and the busses should prominently display a number. Since the busses arrived late, there was no time to explore Voss. Overall, the experience was beautiful, but the transportation needs some work.

Unfortunately, due to the high-peak tourist season, starting in May, there are many tourists in Norway and transport companies sometimes struggle to manage it. As for the seats in the train, we are really sorry, probably there were just a few seats left in the train, so this was the only option. Get to the train early to get best view which is on right side breath taking views (But be aware )don’t leave your seat at the top station for site seeing only 2 minutes and your back on the train in my experience some ignorant person sat in my seat even when my friends told this person he just wouldn’t move I know yours seats are not reserved but come on be courteous to other travellers on bord

Well organized, self-guided tour. You'll enjoy beautiful scenic views from Oslo to Bergen, fantastic Flam railway (it is like a time traveling experience), and a lovely fjord cruise. It is a long day full of unforgettable experiences! As an independent traveler, you are responsible to stick to the schedule that is provided as part of the tour (multiple trains, cities). If you do so, this is a wonderful tour to make the most of your time in beautiful Norway.

Everything went smoothly and we did not miss a connection. The fjord cruise is absolutely the highlight. There is a hidden gym during this trip, you will pass by where Star Wars: the empire strikes back’s Hoth scenes were filmed.

I first faced some anxiety levels based on seeing how close some transfers were. There’s a lot of moving parts on this trip and I was pleasantly surprised when everything went smoothly. We experienced a 10 minute delay during the first train and we still made it on time. The ferry was amazing. Lots of freedom to move around and see the scenery from different angles. The tour ends at about 8pm so you have the ability to enjoy dinner at Bergen.
