Het beste van Bordeaux wordt u aangeboden tijdens deze prestige commentaar cruise. (Commentaar van onze spreekgids) Deze zal u laten genieten, als een goede wijn: Bordeaux, een stad die in 2007 is opgenomen in het Werelderfgoed van de UNESCO. Niets is meer dan rondrijden in de haven van La Lune om de schoonheid en de geschiedenis ervan te ontdekken. U gaat aan boord in de buurt van de waterspiegel en geniet zo van het prachtige spektakel dat de meest iconische monumenten en bruggen van de stad bieden. Terwijl u uw escapade op de rivier de la belle endormie volledig beleeft, wordt u aan boord een kaneel en een glas Bordeaux 12,5cl aangeboden. Een bar is tot uw beschikking de hele duur van de cruise, de boot is voorzien van airconditioning.

Het plein bestaat uit een esplanade die zachtjes afdaalt in de richting van de Garonne en wordt omringd door geplante wandelingen. Er zijn de monumentale beelden van Montaigne en Montesquieu van beeldhouwer Dominique Fortuné Maggesi in wit marmer, die daar in 1858 werden geplaatst.
De Aquitaine brug is een hangbrug gelegen aan de ringweg van Bordeaux, in het departement Gironde en de regio Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Het verbindt de steden Lormont en Bordeaux via de Garonne. De brug werd voltooid in 1967 en heeft een overspanning van 394 m voor een lengte van 1.767 m. Het is de laatste brug over de Garonne voor de monding, de Gironde en de Atlantische Oceaan.
De oorspronkelijke poort bevond zich in de 14e-eeuwse wal. Het werd vervangen door het huidige monument, dichter bij de Garonne gebouwd.

Nice cruise, but a bit long. 1 canelé upon boarding and 1 drink of your choice to be picked up at the bar.
We had a wonderful and educational tasting. Antoine our host was wonderful! We learned about the region and local food.
The staff try really hard and are all very good at what they do but there just isn’t enough waterfront in Bordeaux to justify a 90 minute boat cruise. Once past the city which doesn’t take long there’s not a great deal to see or look at.
I initially booked this cruise for my first day in Bordeaux. However, after an early start and morning flight, I was feeling very tired, so I contacted the team to ask if it would be possible to change the date and time. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, and happily rearranged my booking. When I came back on the new date, I needed to use the bathroom on board, and I have to say it was the cleanest, most spacious and best-maintained boat toilet I have ever used. It might seem like a small detail, but it really reflected how well the boat is looked after. I also really appreciated how the crew went around to every guest individually to check that everything was okay and to ask if anyone had any questions. That personal touch made the experience feel welcoming and showed that they genuinely cared about their guests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent customer service from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bordeaux.
Great 1.5 hours spent on the river. Very informative and worthwhile. Plenty of sunshine on the roof top or air conditioning downstairs
The French commentary was so loud, it was impossible to listen to the English commentary provided on an App.
Great and informative tour off the river in bordeaux. I learned a lot of history. Also loved that it came with warm canales and a glass of wine! The tour operator was great and the boat driver was great too. You could also purchase more drinks if you wanted. There was seating upstairs (part of it shaded) and downstairs seating with AC as well. People loved around a lot so we were able to get lots of vantage points. Highly recommend
You are told to arrive 30 minutes early to embark which most guests did In the blistering heat to board really 10 minutes before No shade offered. Not good The trip itself a bit underwhelming although we had a very good host robin who kept the energy going in the blistering heat Just think you need to treat guests better at the outset
Very good welcome from the crew with lovely smiles, the guided tour was pleasant and complete, definitely worth doing again.
Excellent informative funny tour Great value for money Savannah was friendly and excellent French to English commentary You get a token for a drink on board including soft drinks, but the bar prices are extremely reasonable as well if you want more drinks, bottle of water €2, glass of wine €4 Takes a hour and half. Shaded and non shaded upstairs area, air conditioned downstairs area with unisex toilet Definitely worth while when in Bordeaux
