Onze driedelige tour geeft je een authentiek kijkje in de Amish Community. --Ga mee voor een rondleiding in onze boerderij uit 1805, die voor het laatst bewoond werd door een Amish familie. Uw gids zal u de geschiedenis, gebruiken, kleding en cultuur uitleggen terwijl u de verschillende kamers van het huis bezoekt. --Reis door het Amish platteland in onze mini-bussen. Houd je camera klaar terwijl je Amish schoolgebouwen, buggy's, schuren, boerderijen, historische huizen en prachtige vergezichten over landbouwgronden ziet. -- Ontmoet met de Amishand kopen handgemaakte souvenirs bij schilderachtige Amish winkels langs de weg. --Geniet van een zelfstandig bezoek op onze historische boerderij. Onze 15 hectare boerderij is de thuisbasis van een authentieke Amish een-kamer school, Amish scooters en 12 verschillende soorten dieren. We hebben verschillende ambachtslieden en Amish ambachtslieden op onze boerderij, seizoensgebonden. LET OP: We stoppen niet bij Amish winkels op zondagen of Amish feestdagen.

Als u het gebruik van onze gehandicapten-toegankelijke bus nodig heeft, bericht ons na boeking! Leun achterover, ontspan en laat ons je meenemen door de echte Amish country backroads. Uw chauffeur-gids rijdt 25 mijl naar het platteland niet gemakkelijk te vinden op onze eigen. Vanuit het raam zie je Amish huizen, scholen en boerderijen. Afhankelijk van het seizoen zie je Amish misschien aan het werk in hun velden, kinderen rijden op scooters en paard & buggy's reizen van en naar. Uw chauffeur-gids zal vertellen terwijl u de Amish hun dagelijks leven ziet leiden. Je leert over landbouw, landbouwtechnieken, bruiloften, familietradities en hoe ze leven in onze ‘moderne wereld’. Het is niet alleen allemaal in de bus; we maken twee stops bij Amish farms waar je interactie krijgt met de Amish mensen. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om goederen te kopen die gemaakt zijn van de handen die ze gemaakt hebben! (niet op zondag)
Wij nodigen u van harte uit om naar onze boerderij te komen! U hoeft nooit te wachten wanneer u aankomt, want er is zoveel te zien en te doen tijdens de zelfgeleide wandeling door de boerderij. We hebben ook een cadeauwinkel vol handgemaakte Amish-artikelen.
Het Premium Package-ticket bevat ook onze Farmhouse-tour. De rondleiding door het huis is een aparte rondleiding, bij de prijs inbegrepen. De rondleiding door het huis kan voor of na uw bustour worden voltooid. Onze gids verwelkomt u in onze boerderij uit 1805, gelegen op ons landgoed. Terwijl je door elke kamer loopt, leer je hoe het is om Amish te zijn. Je leert over hun religie, geschiedenis, kleding en huiselijk leven. -Je ziet voorbeelden van Amish meisjes- en jongenskleding -Gemeenschappelijke decoraties in een Amish-huis -Gespecialiseerde keukenapparatuur De boerderij is gelegen op ons terrein. Het werd ooit bewoond door een Amish-familie en we hebben het omgebouwd tot een museum. Er wonen tegenwoordig geen Amish-mensen in dit huis.

Excellent tour! Our guide was friendly and very informative, providing lots of facts and interesting insights into the Amish way of life and their customs. This is an inexpensive but quality tour that is well worth your time and money. You will travel in a small tour van with a small group of people. The driver provides the narrative (use a microphone so everyone can hear), answers questions and points out many interesting things along the route. You will make 2-3 stops to enjoy Amish quilts, food and handcrafts etc. and purchase items if you wish. Ask your driver to stop at the place where you can get freshly made soft pretzels! They are delicious! The house tour after the driving tour is also very good and very informative. We live in Lancaster County and have taken friends and family on this tour many times and learn new things each time. You can't beat this combination tour (driving tour and house tour) for the money!

Our family experienced so many different things within the 3 hour tour, it felt easy yet comprehensive. My 13 year old shared afterwards that she thought it would be boring but it was the completely opposite. She really enjoyed learning about the Amish through the guided tour and visiting several locations.

The people were very kind and provided us with all the information we needed. But in the end, it felt a bit like a trip where you go to look at “little monkeys”. Almost like searching for a lion in Africa. That felt a bit strange, although we could have known this beforehand. The tour through the house after the bus tour was, in our opinion, too detailed. Most of it had already been explained, and simply walking through the house ourselves with someone available for questions would have been enough for us.
