Tour guide Anna was great. Lots of info of history & culture. We got to tour F. Lil Levaggi and see them making chairs. Chairs are beautiful. Best was to the interactions between Anna and all the locals. She had to interpret for me, but had warm & friendly banter and included me if they could. Got a better sense of area. Food/drinks were wonderful. Relaxed intro to Chiavari. Highly recommend.
Chiavari is a treasure on the Ligurian coast and Anna gave us the perfect slow walking tour of this charming town center. She spent several hours with us as we tasted delicious food and wines, while exploring the beautiful streets, squares, cafes, shops and parks. Anna gave each of us her unique guide book that helped us with the history and customs of Chiavari. Anna is a delightful lady and she speaks fluent English. The fee is €130 per person, all inclusive and I highly recommend this tour.
This tour and Anna our tour guide went way beyond our expectations. She was highly knowledgeable about the architecture, food, and history of Liguria but would alter the tour based on our interests. By far the best tour guide we’ve ever had! The only thing I wish we’d done was also book one of her cooking classes! This was part of a 2-week trip for us across northern Italy and it ended up being one of our favorite days. She also gave us fabulous recommendations for places to visit and things to do the rest of our stay which turned out to also be amazing.
Informative tour of the Centro Storico of Chiavari with many interesting hints. Anna is a friendly and very pleasant companion.
