Je reist met de trein naar Potsdam voordat je begint aan een ontspannen rit van ongeveer 17 km in 4,5 uur. Na al die inspanning kun je pauzeren voor de lunch (niet inbegrepen) in de Dutch Quarter.
Bekijk het prachtige Sansssouci-paleis van buitenaf en praat over het vroege leven van Frederik de Grote. Geweldige fotoplek.

Vernoemd naar koningin Louise (koningin consort van Frederik-Wilhelm III), meest populaire en bekendste koningin van Pruisen.
Rijd door de oude stad van Potsdam, stop voor de lunch
Geniet van een ritje en lunchpauze in de historische Nederlandse wijk (nog in originele staat, niet vernietigd in de oorlog). Dit deel van Potsdam dateert uit Frederick-Wilhelm I (Soldaat Koning), die 134 ‘Nederlandse’ huizen liet bouwen om Nederlandse ambachtslieden (ook steenbewerkers en linnenwevers) te lokken zodat de nieuwe immigranten zich thuis zullen voelen.

This tour was a nice way to see all the sites around Potsdam! Maggi was a great guide. The train ride to/from central Berlin was smooth with is guidance. We covered a lot of ground but it was relatively flat (one small hill that was totally doable for this middle-aged not particularly in shape gal!). We stopped fairly often to get off the bikes and explore a bit/take pictures. The stop for lunch was very short. In hindsight, I might have preferred taking something to snack on and using the short lunch stop to explore the Dutch quarter and shop instead of rushing a meal.
This is a fantastic tour. Marco is a very knowledgeable and charismatic guide. The pace of the tour was perfect and the historic context that was provided at each stop was really exceptional. Highly recommended.
This was a fantastic tour of Potsdam made even better by our fabulous guide Maggi. He brought history of the Prussian kings to life with many interesting facts, insights and humour.
We were a group of 4 and had never been to Potsdam before. Maggi was our guide and he was an awesome guide — friendly, accommodating, and knew so much history. We saw so much during our tour — Sanssouci, Bridge of Spies, Neues Palais, and so much more. We enjoyed a break in the Dutch village and had a delightful lunch. The pacing was great, weather perfect, and it was a very unique way to see all the main sites in Potsdam. We had an awesome time and highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you’re new to Potsdam. Thanks Fat Tire & Maggi for an amazing day!
Our tour guide Maggi was incredible. We were on the 6.5 hour tour in Postdam. He was highly knowledgable, friendly and considerate of all participants. The area is beautiful and the ride is fairly flat. There were people of all levels of bike experience on our tour and Maggi made sure that everyone was with the group before moving on.
I felt our guide was inexperienced and lacking in information. In other tours I have done the guides have so-much info to supply they run out of time. In this case the guide gave a brief explanation at each stop and sent us away to explore by ourselves. It felt like she was happier to be alone.
Such a fun, informative and active Tour. We love the stops and getting a few minutes to Tour and look around. Thor gave us some information at our stops and we loved the tidbits of information. Perfectly paced.
I have done this tour nine years ago with my daughter and came back with my husband. Sunny days are the best, beautiful Potsdam, the route is expanded, the guide is from Iceland's, Magga was awesome. .
Excellent overview of Potsdam on bikes, visiting these magnificent Schlosses, parks, and historically significant sites. Our tour guide Maggi was a very friendly and easy going and introduced to Potsdam. Highly recommend.
Nice group, Bindi (SP?) did a good job shepherding us around Potsdam and the sites.... One suggestion: Have some specific recommendations for lunch spots when you break, could save some wantering around...thanks!
