Een venster op de schoonheid van de Amalfikust Zelfs met maar een uur over slaagt Positano erin om het hart te veroveren. Als je door de smalle, steile straatjes afdaalt, word je meteen ondergedompeld in een explosie van kleuren: pastelkleurige huizen beklimmen de berg als in een schilderij, terwijl de geur van de zee zich mengt met die van citroenen en versgebakken brood. Begin je bezoek in de Via dei Mulini, de hoofdstraat die bezaaid is met ambachtelijke boetiekjes, kunstgalerieën en kleine cafés. Een korte wandeling leidt naar de Spiaggia Grande, waar je een adembenemend uitzicht hebt op de Tyrreense Zee en de kerk van Santa Maria Assunta, met zijn majolica koepel. Ga zelfs maar een paar minuten op een bankje of in een bar zitten met uitzicht op zee: de tijd vertraagt, de zon streelt je gezicht en het uitzicht lijkt onwerkelijk. Het is een snel maar intens voorproefje van een van de meest iconische plaatsen van Italië.
Met anderhalf uur rijden naar Amalfi kun je de essentie van deze parel van de Amalfikust ontdekken. Het bezoek begint op Piazza Duomo, waar de prachtige Sint-Andreaskathedraal domineert, met zijn trap en Arabisch-Normandische gevel. Ook een stop waard is het indrukwekkende Paradise Cloister, een oase van rust te midden van Moorse zuilen en bogen. Als je door de steegjes van het oude stadscentrum slentert, adem je de charme van de oude Maritieme Republiek in, te midden van ambachtelijke werkplaatsen, geurige citroenen en kleurrijk keramiek. Voordat je vertrekt, biedt een korte wandeling langs de waterkant een adembenemend uitzicht op de zee en de haven. Een koffie met uitzicht op zee of een glaasje limoncello maken deze smaak van Amalfi perfect.
Ravello, hangend tussen hemel en zee, biedt onvergetelijke uitzichten in slechts 60 minuten. Een bezoek kan beginnen vanaf Piazza Duomo, met de kathedraal en de rustige straten eromheen. Een must-see is Villa Rufolo, met zijn prachtige tuinen die uitkijken over de kust: een perfecte mix van kunst, natuur en adembenemende uitzichten. Als het weer het toelaat, rondt een panoramisch kopje koffie op het terras deze korte maar magische stop in een van de elegantste dorpen van Italië af.

Every detail was thoughtfully planned — from the seamless transportation to the perfectly timed itineraries that gave us the best balance of guided experiences and free time to explore. Our guide Francesco was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Italy’s rich history and culture but also passionate, friendly, and full of fun stories that brought each city to life. We explored breathtaking landmarks in Positano did some shopping, drove thru the beautiful coast of Amalfi and my favorite was the amazing breathtaking gardens in Ravello, ate at a delicious restaurant in Scala. Doing the tour with Francesco was one of the best choices we made here! He was super friendly and fun to ride with, not to mention the amazing views we got on our way to Ravello. We made small stops at the Amalfi town area, Minori, Scala and etc. where he gave us time to roam around and gave us recommendations on the local cuisine. The restaurant he took us to in Scala was absolutely amazing. I would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Francesco. If only we had the time, we would definitely go for the Pompeii tour with him as well! 12 out of 10!!!!

Amazing tour- covers all famous spots on amalfi coast. Punctuality of time, ease of everything. Highly recommended if you want to do a day trip to amalfi coast and dont want to get into hassle of renting and driving.
