Tracey was great - knowledgeable and personable. She conducted the session well and was patient with both my husband and me. She switched quickly between me with my DSLR and my husband with his phone and had great tips for both of us. We felt like we covered a lot of ground and had a go at a good range of shots. Lots of fun, and learned some local history as well. Loved the fact that Eddie the eclectus parrot was a charming member of the group!

I booked with Tracey to get tips and advice on the local Photographic " hot spots ". She was very knowledgable and I had a great time- so much that I booked an additional guided tour through Mossman Gorge with Tracey getting fantastic images of the Spiders, bugs and general forest views. I have been using my iPhone as my main means of photography for quite a few years now but basically just point and shoot. Tracey opened up a new world for me introducing me to so many tips and tricks that I was unaware that could be done on my iPhone. I’m going away with completely new information which I’m hoping will improve my photos and make me think more about positioning, lighting, perspective, etc. Thank you so much Tracey for your patience and delivery. I’m overwhelmed with what I’ve learnt.

My husband and I booked a tour to help improve my husband's photographic skills but it was also fantastic for me in regard to using my iphone. We both learnt so much from Tracey, taking much better photos that we have ever done before. Her technical knowledge as well as her creativity was very apparent thoughout our time with her. We would both highly recommend this tour, there is so much more to consider rather than just 'snapping away' and hoping for a good shot but not so hard that it couldn't be applied when using your phone or camera. Some of the tips were so simple, why didn't I know about these before!!!! If you like taking photos this is the tour for you, Tracey was just great, showed us so many things to consider and different ways to view things. Book this tour and you won't regret it

Wow! What a great tour! My partner and myself did Tracey's photography tour. We had so much fun, and learnt so much. The delivery was very relaxed which enhanced the enjoyment and absorption of knowledge. The time went by so fast. If we had more daylight, we would've kept going. Now I can't stop seeing beautiful photo opportunities! Doing this tour has really ignited another aspect of our love of nature and the natural beauty of our surroundings. Wonderful session suitable for anyone from complete beginner to experienced amateur, and cameras from phone to modern SLR. An opportunity to learn new skills and techniques from a professional. Tracey was an excellent teacher, able to explain concepts clearly. She and her assistant, Mike, were patient, interested and very supportive. The setting was beautiful, and timed to the best light. The course ran for three hours, with plenty of time to learn, take photos and ask questions. I came away from the session with improved confidence improving knowledge and an inspiration to keep working on my photography.

While on a recent visit to Port Douglas, I joined a Tracey Jones Sunset Photography Walking Tour and found some great spots to take photos as well as learning many tips on how to improve my photos . My Canon EOS R10 camera is relatively new and Tracey showed me how to use a number of useful functions. It was a great learning experience.
