De Ponta de São Lourenço tour is uniek vanwege de spectaculaire rotsachtige kust op de meest oostelijke hoek van het eiland, met een fantastisch uitzicht over zowel het noorden als het zuiden van Madeira. De dramatische, dorre landschappen en serene wandelpaden door dit beschermde natuurreservaat maken het een perfect avontuur voor natuurliefhebbers.

Bij het boeken van de Ponta de São Lourenço-ervaring gaan reizigers op een onvergetelijke begeleide wandeling door het meest oostelijke punt van het eiland Madeira. Dit avontuur biedt adembenemende uitzichten op de ruige kustlijn, dramatische kliffen en de uitgestrekte Atlantische Oceaan. Terwijl ze het dorre, door de wind geteisterde schiereiland doorkruisen, komen wandelaars unieke vulkanische rotsformaties en endemische plantensoorten tegen, terwijl ze aan beide kanten worden omringd door het kristalheldere water van de Atlantische Oceaan. Het pad leidt naar Casa do Sardinha, waar deelnemers kunnen uitrusten en genieten van het adembenemende panoramische uitzicht voordat ze langs hetzelfde pad terugkeren. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is inbegrepen voor gasten die in de aangewezen hotels verblijven. We raden u aan om 10 minuten voor uw geplande ophaaltijd klaar te staan bij de receptie van het hotel. Onze gidsen wachten ongeveer 5 minuten op elke gast. Kijk uit naar onze busjes, die wit (kleiner) of grijs (groter) kunnen zijn. We streven ernaar om uw avontuur soepel en tijdig te laten beginnen, hoewel er externe vertragingen kunnen optreden. Als dat gebeurt, wordt u op de dag zelf op de hoogte gebracht. Een dag voor de activiteit kunnen we de ophaaltijd aanpassen voor uw gemak.

- Gezondheid en conditie: Deze tour omvat een wandeling van ongeveer 3,5 uur en vereist een gemiddelde conditie. De tour is niet geschikt voor personen met ernstige gezondheidsproblemen of beperkte mobiliteit.
- Regen of zonneschijn: Deze tour gaat door, ongeacht de weersomstandigheden (mits het veilig kan).
- Annuleringsbeleid: Er worden geen restituties verleend voor annuleringen die binnen 24 uur voor de aanvangstijd van de activiteit worden gedaan.
- Ontbijt: Zorg ervoor dat u een stevig ontbijt eet voordat u aan de activiteit begint, zodat u tijdens de wandeling voldoende energie hebt.
- Het is mogelijk om eten en drinken te kopen voor de wandeling, maar dit is niet gegarandeerd. Neem uw eigen versnaperingen mee en reken er niet op dat u ze onderweg kunt kopen.
- Weer: Houd er rekening mee dat de Ponta de São Lourenço-wandeling soms erg winderig kan zijn. Wees voorbereid op sterke windstoten en kleed u dienovereenkomstig voor uw veiligheid en comfort.
- Meertalige gids: Uw tour kan worden geleid door een gids die vloeiend is in meerdere talen. Hoewel we ons best doen om een gids te vinden die uw voorkeurstaal spreekt, is dit niet altijd gegarandeerd. In dergelijke gevallen wordt de tour in het Engels uitgevoerd.

Very nice hiking with multiple landscapes and soil (staircases, rocks, trail). Too bad that the last part, which has a sign warning the risk of accidents, is not maintained. A refresh of the security features is quite possible and would allow authorized access. The tax of €4.50 per person should be used for this ...

We had a great day on our hike. The weather was great. Daria (our guide ) was very prudent and took care of everything very well. Before the hike there was still opportunity to go to the toilet and buy a little something to eat. During the hike was 1 hour lunch break with the opportunity for swimming, picnic and toilet. Finally, also a short stay in a café. The hike itself with these spectacular views just a dream!! It was a wonderful experience...thank you for that !

Daria was a fun and informative guide and mostly timed the hike to suit everyone’s pace. The views are unreal and it surely helps to have a guide as the path sometimes forks into different directions and there aren’t well marked directions. I did get slightly left behind as I wandered off with a fellow visitor on the tour to click photos of a rather picturesque viewpoint, but I was able to locate the group shortly after. I am hoping they saw me and proceeded as they felt it was unlikely I would get lost lol - however, it would have been helpful for them to wait for us or rather give us instructions on bow much time we had to spend at each viewpoint. Thankfully we both found our way back but would have been nice for them to wait for us had something untoward happened. But overall it was a great experience and the vjews are to die for!

Superb hike on the tip of Sao Lourenço, the scenery is incredible. Our guide Martha was great, she gave advice and explanations and we had a great day.

We had a great time and hike with Martha. The views are amazing, and the path is safe if you follow it and listen to your guide. There are some climbs and descents but you can do it if you take your time. Worth the time!

Samuel, was patient, and knowledgeable. We had a very diverse group with all abilities. He knew when to show us the amazing views, made us feel secure and safe on this hike.Gave us information on vegetation, also gave us details and information on our travels to the hike. The hike was not simple, lots of steps, lots of narrow passages, the sun gets very hot during the trek.Well worth it,I would go again.

The hike itself is amazing on a clear day. Views along the way are incredible. Pickup was prompt and accommodating. As a slower walker I can confirm I prefer self guided walks vs walking at a faster than comfortable pace. As the path is rocky, being mindful of your steps is key. I feel fortunate to have experienced the island away from the clusters of people.
