Bij aankomst in Pompeii verken je de ruïnes voor ongeveer 2 uur. Leer de tradities en het dagelijks leven van de oude Pompeii inwoners kennen. Je ziet het grote theater, de necropolis, de thermale baden en enkele van de geweldige huizen die eigendom waren van de rijkste bewoners. Maak vervolgens een korte wandeling door de wijngaarden op de hellingen van de Vesuvius. Leer over de oorsprong van de wijnen. Hoor over hun unieke eigenschappen van de zon verbrande grond, en bemest met periodieke lavastromen. Na het zien van de wijngaarden op de Vesuvius hellingen, kunt u ontspannen tijdens een heerlijke mediterrane lunchproeverij, geserveerd met 100% lokale producten en wijnen, zoals “Falanghina”, “Lacryma Christi”, “Aglianico” en vele andere gerenommeerde variëteiten.

We visited coming from a mediterranean cruise. We had canceled our cruise excursion last minute and chose this one instead, and good thing we did. The tour of Pompeii was educational although our tour guide was hard to understand and seemed a bit annoyed, but the wine tasting afterwards was the best part. Starting with a quick tour of the winery then eating lunch while tasting the wines was amazing. Shout out to our driver and the staff who were so kind and got us back to our cruise on time. I would definitely recommend them.

We had an excellent transfer from Naples to Pompeii. From there we met our Pompeii guide who was extremely knowledgeable and funny. We had 2 hours in Pompeii in a small 6 person group. We then met another transfer, Nikolai, who took us to the vineyard where we had a lovely tour and 3-course lunch with 6 different wine tastings. On the transfer back to Naples, Nikolai took us almost directly to our hotel (he couldn’t take us all the way because we were in the middle of the Spanish quarters). He went above and beyond, stopping in of some places to show us for food recommendations. Everything flowed really well considering all the different moving parts. We were very satisfied and had one of the best days of our whole trip with this!

Pick up at hotel was on time. Not much info shared on our trip out to Pompeii and we had to wait 30 minutes once there for local guide to arrive. The local guide did an excellent job sharing the highlights of Pompeii. After the Pompeii tour there was a logistics issue switching us to a new group and driver. The winery tour and lunch were good. Not a smooth day but overall we enjoyed it and got back to our hotel on time.

All of the people that we met on the tour – drivers and guides were friendly and knowledgeable. However, neither my wife, nor I felt like we got the full value for the money we paid for the tour.

Great Tour of Pompeii, wine tasting and beautiful lunch. Our guide Chris let us know all we needed to know. Pompeii was really interesting and our audio guide in English was great. Travelling then to a local vineyard for delicious wine tasting followed by a lunch of Italian delights including charcuterie, pasta and dessert
