Poás-vulkaan- en koffietour met proeverij en La Paz-waterval
Beschrijving
Deze excursie is een dagtocht naar het prachtige Poás-gebied. Onze bus rijdt door de bergen en langs veeboerderijen tot aan de indrukwekkende Poás-vulkaan. We maken een korte wandeling naar de krater om de prachtige lagune te bekijken. Houd er rekening mee dat de zichtbaarheid afhankelijk is van de natuurlijke weersomstandigheden in het gebied. Op de vulkaan bevindt zich een mooie cafetaria, waar u aan het einde van de rondleiding op de vulkaan wat snacks kunt kopen. Daarna bezoeken we de Peace Waterfall, een prachtige, 37 meter hoge waterval waar u schitterende foto's kunt maken. Tot slot bezoeken we een authentieke koffieboerderij, waar u de koffieplantages kunt bekijken, meer te weten kunt komen over het koffieproces en ook de koffie en chocolade kunt proeven die op de boerderij worden geproduceerd. Aan het einde van de dag rijden we terug naar uw hotel.

Nadat we de passagiers bij de hotels hebben opgehaald, reizen we naar Poás, een landelijke en boerenstad waar het beroemd is om zijn productie van aardbeien en zuivelproducten. Het is een reis door een landschap vol bergen en bomen.

Breakfast spot was great, but food took a long time to come out. La Paz waterfall stop was beautiful! Due to weather, we could not see the crater at Poas, yet we were expected to stand at the viewing area for 30 minutes in the cold and rain with zero visibility. I wish there was an alternative option. We made a stop at a touristy gift shop. Finished at the coffee tour. We arrived at 11:40am and were told the tour would being at 12pm. It did not start until 12:30, and didn’t wrap up until 2+ hours after. Although it was informative and neat to see the coffee plantation and production, it could’ve been shortened significantly. The tour was mainly aimed to convince you to buy their coffee at the gift shop at the end.

The trip was excellent; the guide and the driver were wonderful and very punctual. Perhaps the only thing is that I would have preferred to spend a little more time in the National Park to be able to walk the path more calmly and be able to listen to and observe nature better. I wouldn't mind spending a little less time at the coffee farm. But I recommend the tour!
Victor was a great tour guide! Although it was cloudy and we couldn’t see the crater, it was a great experience. The falls were beautiful and we really enjoyed the coffee plantation tour! Great day!

Really good day tour that covers a lot. We were unlucky with weather so couldn't see the volcano crater but the waterfall and coffee tour were excellent and our guide shared some photos and videos he'd taken last time the volcano erupted
I would recommend this excursion. The only thing is that weather might not permit the volcano watch. We were lucky to have a nice view. The sky clear the intense fog for just a few minutes. Come prepared to do a long walk.
I highly recommend this tour company. They have great communication from booking and throughout your tour. They have comfortable transportation with friendly and knowledgeable guides. We have had 2 other tour companies cancel or just not show up. I wish I had booked all of tours with Inside Tours.
Great guide and tour had many stops for sightseeing. I was picked up in a timely manner and was able to get back to my hotel in the afternoon.
Depending on cloud conditions, you will not see the volcano or the lake. Not the tour company's fault!
