Ontdek tijdens de tour de karakteristieke interieurs van het Paleis van Cultuur en Wetenschap : balzalen met uitstekend houtwerk, conferentiezalen met originele meubels en apparatuur uit de jaren ’50 en majestueuze marmeren trappen. Uw lokale Gids brengt u dichter bij de hele geschiedenis van het gebouw vanaf 1952 tot nu. Geniet van vermakelijke verhalen en anekdotes terwijl je door de geschiedenis van het gebouw loopt. Aan het einde van je reis sla je de wachtrij voor de lift over en ga je naar het uitkijkterras op de 30e verdieping om een prachtig uitzicht over de stad te ontdekken. ONTMOETINGSPUNT : vind de hoofdingang van het Paleis van Cultuur en Wetenschap dat zich in het oosten van het gebouw bevindt, voor het Defiladeplein - de kant van Marszalkowska Street. Ga naar boven, passeer tussen twee cafés (Green Cafe Nero en So!Koffie), neem nogmaals een trap naar het einde van de gang. Gids zal aan uw rechterhand wachten, voor de grote houten deur ''BISTRO TROJKA''.

The first thing that left us open-mouthed was the imposing Palace of Culture and Science, a Soviet giant that Stalin “gave” to Warsaw... the gift is in quotes, of course. The taxi driver even gestured the quotation marks with his fingers as he joked. Today, the building has cinemas, restaurants and a new life that seems to say, “since they snapped it up, let’s at least take advantage of it.”

An emblematic building of Warsaw with an Interesting history!! Unfortunately it was very foggy and we didn't see anything from the terrace!

We did just the viewing terrace. Got our tickets at the self service machines which turned out a lot quicker than then ticket kiosk. Make your way round to the lifts and wait. Depending on how many people are in the queue depends on how quick you get up to the terrace? Once there, you get some cracking views across the city. You can take as long or short time as you want?
Fantastic guide, fun explanation of the palace, Polish culture and useful walk-through of the rooms. The viewing terrace was on the 30th floor and the elevators were fast.
