Comfortabele dagtrip van Phnom Penh naar Siem Reap Vertrek om 4:30 uur in een luxe busje met airconditioning en kom rond 10:00 uur aan in Siem Reap. ️ Bezoek de hoogtepunten van Angkor in één dag Verken Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon Temple en de zuidelijke poort van Angkor Thom met een ervaren Gids. ️ Khmer lunch inbegrepen Geniet van een lokale Cambodjaanse lunch tijdens de tour. Phnom Penh’s vroege ochtend zoemt om je heen terwijl je wacht in je hotellobby, je naam op een vrolijk “welkomstbord” dat door je chauffeur wordt vastgehouden. Een kwartier voor vertrek word je ingeleid in een comfortabel voertuig met airconditioning op weg naar Siem Reap. In de komende 5-6 uur glijdt u door de veranderende landschappen van Cambodja – rijstvelden, dorpen en open luchten – met ontspannende toilet- en koffiepauzes die onderweg worden besprenkeld.
Angkor Wat, gebouwd rond 1150 door koning Suryavarman II, is een monumentaal hindoe-boeddhistisch tempelcomplex in de buurt van Siem Reap. Het beslaat ongeveer 160 ha en is beroemd om zijn silhouet met vijf torens, uitgestrekte gracht en ingewikkelde bas-reliëfs met goden en epische verhalen
De Zuidpoort van Angkor Thom (eind 12e-begin 13e eeuw) is de best bewaarde ingang van de ommuurde stad. Omzoomd door deva's en asura's die naga-balustrades vasthouden, beschikt het over 23 m torens met serene gezichten gesneden in de Bayon-stijl
Bayon, de staatstempel in Angkor Thom gebouwd door Jayavarman VII (eind 12e-begin 13e eeuw), is beroemd om zijn ~37 stenen torens, elk versierd met immense serene gezichten. De galerijen zitten boordevol bas-reliëfs die mythes, geschiedenis en het dagelijks leven van Khmer uitbeelden

Ta Prohm (eind 12e eeuw, door Jayavarman VII) is een met jungle beklede boeddhistische tempel in de buurt van Angkor Thom, beroemd om zijn massieve bomen en wortels verstrengeld met mosachtige ruïnes. Het is grotendeels ongerestaureerd gelaten en roept een “oude, overwoekerde” sfeer op en komt voor in Tomb Raider
Pub Street komt tot leven met kleur, muziek en onweerstaanbare energie. Deze iconische straat ligt in het hart van Siem Reap en is het epicentrum van het nachtleven van de stad - bruist van het leven, lachen en onvergetelijke ervaringen.
Stap in de levendige ziel van Siem Reap op de Oude Markt (Phsar Chas), waar de charme van Cambodja tot leven komt in een kleurrijke, chaotische en boeiende sfeer. Genesteld in de buurt van de rivier en op slechts enkele minuten van de iconische Pub Street, deze historische markt is een must-bezoek voor iedereen die op zoek is naar het echte Cambodja te ervaren.
Als de middag vervaagt, vestig je je in de je rit terug naar Phnom Penh. De rit duurt ongeveer 5 uur en arriveert bij uw hotel als de schemering intreedt. (Opmerking: weekenden en Cambodjaanse feestdagen kunnen de reis verlengen.)

What a fabulous way to visit Angkor Wat. Yes it is a long drive but totally worth the effort. My driver was great with a seamless pickup and drop off and stopped along the way when requested. My guide at Angkor Wat, Mr T was very knowledgeable and also a great photographer. For those travellers based in Phonm Penh I would highly recommend doing this tour.

Kim the tour guide absolutely phenomenal. I learned so much about the temples, history, religion and culture. Kim was also incredibly informative and patient and helpful. he always asked and made sure if I was okay and if I needed water. Enjoyed our tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful with taking pictures. The tour was quite a bit of money with the temple pass not included.
