Rijd naar het Mekong-eiland terwijl je door de rustige weggetjes, boomgaarden, markttuinen en landerijen van het Zijdeeiland in de Mekong-rivier navigeert. Met ervaren lokale gidsen ervaar je de echte cultuur van Phnom Penh terwijl je buiten de gebaande paden verkent.

Ontmoeting in uw hotellobby in Phnom Penh, we vertrekken vanuit Phnom Penh stad met Vespa met onze ervaringschauffeur. u komt aan bij de Gouden Tempel genaamd Mongkol Serey om meer te leren over het boeddhisme in Cambodja.
Daarna stap je aan boord van de veerboot naar Silk Island.
Zodra je aankomt, maak je je klaar voor een spannend avontuur dat je meeneemt door het platteland, boerendorpen, lokale markt, tofu-huidproductie en de boeddhistische tempel van Phnom Penh. Wees voorbereid op het ervaren en observeren van de lokale cultuur en manier van leven en geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op het landelijke landschap!
Vervolgens brengen we een bezoek aan het unieke ambacht van het zijdeweven. Onze lokale dorpsbewoners kunnen u een authentiek inzicht geven in de geschiedenis van het zijdeweven in Cambodja, een traditie die van generatie op generatie is doorgegeven van ouder op kind. Dit is een ongelooflijke kans om meer te leren over de cultuur van dit land en het rijke erfgoed uit de eerste hand te ervaren. Authentic experience on a bike. It was great to learn more about buddhism in one of the temples on the way to the silk island and the silk farm we visited in the island was amazing about showing us how silk is made, weaved and dyed. Great tour

Fantastic experience! Sam really took care of me and the Vespa tour to Silk Island was a real highlight—fun, well organised, and a great way to see local life. A great trip. Sam our guide and his colleague were excellent drivers weaving through traffic then through country lanes and on/off 4 short ferries. A really varied experience with Sam giving us lots of local information. The local market very authentic and the silk experience very informative and not a very hard sell at the end- although I did buy!! Thoroughly recommended.

We did the tour with Tuktuk. It was a great experience overall. Our guide KIM picked us up personally and warmly received us. From him we learned a lot and interesting details about the culture and religion of the country. The visit to a silk tofu production site and a silk weaving mill was also very interesting and enlightening. This tour is indeed recommended 👍

I was not 100% sure what to expect on this tour, having never been on a motorbike before. But I can honestly say Lee and his colleague, made this into a wonderful diverse morning getting out of the city. 4 stops - a temple, a local market, tofu skin production and silk making were all very interesting snd explained well in clear english, with good stories. A good stop to eat local snacks. A thoroughly enjoyable morning. Thank you "Bruce" Lee.

We had an amazing morning driving around Silk Island - Sok was our guide and a great driver, he made me feel very comfortable driving around as it was my first time on a bike. Thank you 100% recommend as a lovely way to explore the island.
