Perth Wildlife Tour onder de sterren met diner

Ontmoet enkele van Perth's schattigste inheemse dieren in hun natuurlijke habitat. Ontsnap aan de drukte met ons en bezoek de Dryandra Woodlands, een vitaal beschermd gebied vol wilde dieren. Maak kennis met de Dansende Haas (Mala), de acrobatische Woylie, de Bilby met gigantische oren, de dikstaart Boodie, Borstelstaartbuidelrat en de zeer verlegen Echidna. Grote menigten kangoeroes leven hier ook. Je hebt genoeg tijd om deze biodiversiteitshotspot te verkennen voordat je geniet van een heerlijk picknickdiner in het bos, compleet met barbecuemaaltijden en lokale wijnen. Na het voltooien van de nachttour door het wildreservaat, maken we een korte stop bij een boerenveld in de Dryandra Outback om wat sterren te kijken. - Picknickdiner in het bos met kangoeroes, eksters en papegaaien voor dinergasten - Mooie schilderachtige rit door het bos - Bushwalk te spotten voor numbats, vogels en mierenegels - Zie dieren die onder de sterrenhemel voederen in het Barna Mia wildreservaat - Donkere nachtelijke hemel - Kleine groepen tot 11 personen

De Dryandra Woodlands is een biodiversiteitshotspot met meer dan 850 soorten planten, meer dan 100 soorten vogels en 24 zoogdieren, waaronder de bedreigde numbat en bilby. De bossen bieden onderdak aan enkele van onze unieke Australische dieren, waaronder mierenegels, borstelstaartwallabies, woylies, quendas en chuditch. Bij aankomst in het bos heeft u tijd voor een korte bushwandeling, op zoek naar inheemse dieren en prachtige wilde bloemen in het seizoen voordat u gaat zitten voor een picknickdiner in het bos. Uw Gids kookt wat eten op de barbecue, er zijn verse salades, kaas en koekjes, wijn en warme dranken beschikbaar. Geniet na het diner van een schilderachtige rit door het bos terwijl het zonlicht door de takken van de bomen filtert en lange schaduwen en een flikkerend licht werpt dat een magisch effect op de bosbodem creëert. Houd een oogje in het zeil voor de vele kangoeroes in de omgeving terwijl ze zich een weg banen door de bomen.
Barna Mia is een uniek wildreservaat voor enkele van onze bedreigde zoogdieren. De gidsen zullen een korte talk en video geven waarin het natuurbeschermingswerk in Barna Mia wordt uitgelegd. Daarna ga je naar het heiligdom voor een begeleide nachtwandeling waar we zitten en wachten tot de nachtwezens van Barna Mia verschijnen. Het zal niet lang duren voordat je wordt vermaakt door de dieren van Barna Mia als ze uit de duisternis komen in hun zoektocht naar voedsel.
Om de tour af te ronden maken we een stop net buiten de bossen om een beetje sterren te kijken. De Gids wijst je op enkele objecten die zichtbaar zijn aan de nachtelijke hemel en je hebt de tijd om een paar foto's van de nachtelijke hemel te maken. De Dryandra regio heeft een aantal van de donkerste luchten in Australië, perfect voor het zien van de melkweg en vallende sterren.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophaaltijden variëren afhankelijk van de door u gekozen ophaallocatie. U wordt de dag voor de tour op de hoogte gebracht van uw ophaaltijd via e-mail naar uw Viator-account. Wacht buiten op straat en wees 5 minuten voor uw ophaaltijd klaar. Wacht niet in de lobby van het hotel.

Unique experience to see conservation in action at Barna Mia. A bit of a ride to get there but well worth it. Our guide was informative and engaging. The spot for dinner provided an opportunity to observe a field of kangaroos and various birdlife. Overall I'd recommend this tour 100%.

Had an amazing afternoon and night with Skip as our guide. We were incredibly lucky with siting of two Bilby’s and even saw a shooting star! Lots of great conversation and dinner was beautiful- plenty to go around. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a more wildlife-based experience, this is a great opportunities.

What an awesome tour! We had a total of five guests on our tour and our tour guide was friendly, down to earth, knowledgable, and provided great service. BBQ dinner in the bush was good. The stops along the way to Barna Mia felt well picked out to get a feel for the WA bush. Barna Mia was fantastic - so many small Australian mammals to see and watch, and do yourself a favour - buy a gift at the gift shop, because the money supports a great cause. If you are looking for something a bit different and love Australian wildlife, this tour is a must-do!

Thankyou for your feedback Hilary. Timing is always a delicate balance to manage on this tour due to the distance we travel to get to the woodlands & we don't want to make the tour too long. We spend about 30 minutes driving through the woodlands looking for animals & when we see them such as echidnas or numbats we stop so you can get out & see them. Customers then have around 30 minutes to see the kangaroos & look for echidnas and numbats at the spot where we have dinner. We tend not to talk too much about the woodlands on tour as this is covered by the presentation run by Parks & Wildlife when we get to the wildlife sanctuary. We appreciate though that some customers would like more time for bushwalking. Kind regards Skip
This tour went beyond my expectations! Our guide Skip was super friendly, knowledgable and kept us entertained during the drive to Dryandra (meaning the 2h passed by in no time). Before stopping for the view point, we were lucky enough to spot Echidna's and Wallabies on the way there! At our dinner spot, there were plenty of kangaroos minding their business. In the forest we got to see some more Echidna's, that we had to search for first. However, that was definitely part of the fun! The dinner was delicious too:)) (chicken skewers with wraps, dips and veggies). The Nature Park (main destination), offered a great opportunity to see many kinds of nocturnal animals such as: Bilbies, Boodies, Malas and Potoroos! Catching a glimpse of these animals is guaranteed here, since they’re being attracted with food. Nonetheless, it’s just as thrilling to spot them in the dark by using the infrared torches :) I definitely recommend this tour for people who prefer a more personal experience, love and can respect nature and its wildlife.
