Beleef het avontuur van het verkennen van het schiereiland Valdés en ga met ons mee op een walvisexcursie. Tijdens deze 11 uur durende excursie ontdekt u de natuur van het immense schiereiland Valdés, waar u zich kunt verwonderen over de diversiteit aan zeedieren: zuidkapers, pinguïns, zeeleeuwen, orka's en nog veel meer, afhankelijk van de maand van het jaar. Temidden van het imposante Patagonische landschap vind je landdieren: guanaco's, Patagonische mara's, nandoes, tinamoes en andere soorten. Geniet van een zorgeloze reis in comfortabel en modern vervoer, onder begeleiding van ervaren chauffeurs en gidsen uit de regio en professionals.

Begin je avontuur door te zoeken naar accommodatie in Puerto Madryn. Na een korte rondleiding door de stad om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis, gaan we richting het schiereiland Valdés.
Het avontuur begint in het reservaat in het gezelschap van een gids die ons zal helpen de omgeving te begrijpen. Wees alert, het schiereiland Valdés herbergt unieke diersoorten zoals guanaco's, mara's (Patagonische hazen), choiques (kleine nandoes) en grijze vossen, om er maar een paar te noemen.
We trokken het binnenland in van het immense schiereiland, dat met het vasteland verbonden is door een smalle strook land die bekendstaat als de landengte van Ameghino. Op bepaalde punten kun je tegelijkertijd beide golven zien, de Nuevo en de San José, en genieten van het uitzicht op het typische Patagonische landschap. Begin uw bezoek bij het bezoekerscentrum Istmo Carlos Ameghino, waar u een kleine selectie van de lokale flora en fauna kunt bewonderen.
We vervolgden onze reis naar het pittoreske dorpje Puerto Pirámides, waar we genoten van het uitzicht en bij aankomst een korte rondleiding door de stad kregen. Van juni tot en met december krijgt u de gelegenheid om een anderhalf uur durende boottocht te maken en de majestueuze zuidelijke walvis van dichtbij te bewonderen.
We vervolgen onze reis over een onverharde weg naar Caleta Valdés om de kolonie Magelhaenpinguïns te bewonderen (van september tot april). De uitzonderlijke waarde van deze baai is te danken aan de grote biodiversiteit en de schilderachtige schoonheid van de open zee. Houd je ogen open voor orka's; met een beetje geluk zie je ze in groepen langs deze kusten patrouilleren. De volgende halte is Punta Cantor. De wandelpaden en uitzichtpunten bieden je de mogelijkheid om kolonies zeeolifanten en zeeleeuwen te observeren.
Terwijl we over de onverharde wegen rijden, gaat de safari over land verder. Zorg ervoor dat je naar de horizon kijkt. Tussen de struiken kun je guanaco's, nandoes en mara's zien die de Patagonische steppe oversteken. Na een dag vol natuur in haar puurste vorm keerden we terug naar Puerto Madryn om hem af te zetten bij zijn accommodatie.

We went to celebrate 80 years of my mom, and it is very remarkable the patience and the predisposition of the guides regarding their age, all the wisdom they transmitted to us of the fauna and flora was terrible. The most remarkable thing is the human warmth and respect for the fauna, I would definitely hire them again

The whole excursion is beautiful and very complete, we visited Punta Norte, Caleta Valdez and Puerto Pirámides Agostina super attentive and friendly, the whale watching was beautiful!

Beautiful excursion, in contact with nature, having the possibility to see very close the whales, tour the peninsula seeing other species, such as elephant seals, magellanic penguins, sea lions. With the guide’s thorough explanation, Daniel, with informative material of each species, with a friendly and warm treatment and the perfect driving of the vehicle, of Coco. I'd do it again with this company. Highly recommended.

It was amazing and above all very respectful of the fauna. The only thing that I feel unlucky to be there under an algae outcrop and nothing looked like when the water is crystal clear, those things should be taken into account.
We only had 1 full day in Valdez Peninsula because of flight rescheduling but Dos Oceania and Danny (our eagle-eyed driver) made sure we saw virtually every major site on the island. In addition to great stories about the development of Puerto Madryn, Valdez Peninsula, and their history, Danny showed us guanacos, maras, penguins, birds, a grey fox, hares, bird life, and more. The whale watching trip was phenomenal with very close up views and the varied scenery throughout was fantastic! Highly recommend!
