Begin uw ervaring met het verkennen van Península Valdés zodra uw cruiseschip aanmeert in Puerto Madryn. Ontmoet ons en stap aan boord van een comfortabel-modern voertuig. Geniet van een korte rondleiding door de stad om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis terwijl u naar het reservaat gaat.
Begin het avontuur onder begeleiding van een gids die ons zal helpen de omgeving te interpreteren. Houd een oogje in het zeil, het reservaat omvat unieke soorten zoals Guanacos (Lama's), Patagonia Konijn, Kleine Rhea, Grijze Wolf, onder anderen.
Rijd naar het inmense schiereiland, dat aan het continent vastzit door een strook land dat bekend staat als Ameghino Isthmus. Op sommige punten zie je de twee golf Nuevo en San José tegelijk en krijg je uitzicht op het typische Patagonische landschap. Maak uw eerste stop bij het Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Visitor Center, waar u de kleine tentoonstelling van de lokale flora en fauna zult zien.
Ga verder naar Caleta Valdes langs een kale grindweg om de Magelhaense Pinguïnskolonie te bewonderen. De uitzonderlijke waarde van deze inham is te danken aan de biodiversiteit. Kijk uit voor orka’s, als je geluk hebt zie je ze in pods patrouilleren langs deze kusten. Volgende halte, Punta Cantor. Hier laten de paden en uitkijkpunten u verbazen door kolonies olifantenrobben en zeeleeuwen.
Terwijl we over de grindwegen rijden, gaat de safari verder over land. Zorg ervoor dat u de horizon aftast; tussen de struiken kunt u guanaco's, choiques en mara's zien die de Patagonische steppe oversteken.
Teruggekeerd wordt u naar Punta Piramide gebracht om een zeeleeuwenkolonie te bekijken vanaf de top van de kliffen. Dankzij de ligging bewondert u een van de mooiste landschappen van de omgeving. Na een dag vol natuur in zijn puurste vorm keer je terug naar Puerto Madryn en laat je je op tijd voor de pier afzetten.

Regardless of which vendor you go with for this tour it’s a long ride more than 2 hours to the coast. The terrain is not real scenic but we did see many llamas. We spent too much time over 2 hours on the coast initially where we seen very few sea lions, one dead penguin and no orcas. There was an issue with some of the passengers who had different itinerary s. We did not go to Punta Norte ( which a placard where we were said the best airings for Orcas were there) which was on there’s but not our. The driver was great along with the Diego the guide who was very informative, congenial and answered many questions but could use a little improvement on his English skills . We also had a flat tire on way back to ship which Diego and driver had the skill set to change. Fortunately for us since this was not a ship tour. The seats in the van were a little tight in the mini bus( Mercedes Benz 2 on one side of aisle and one on the other. If we came back we would not take this tour again with anyone but would recommend someone else if you are interested in seeing this area.

I'd give the tour Five Stars for the quality of the guide and meet-up experience. However, we endured five hours on mostly bumpy dirt roads to see two penguins and some sea lions from a distance and for a short time. Even if there had been more wildlife I don't think the hours on the bus is worth what you see. Back on our ship we heard of other experiences people had that were shorter and included more up close wildlife. Look at boat excursions directly from the port.

Overall not bad There were few penguins , it might be good to state that in late February there are fewer Did not get very close to elephant seals , needed binoculars. We were within 10 minutes of our ship last board time , fortunately many ship tours were late also

This was a disappointing trip from start to finish. The bus was extremely cramped, making the ride uncomfortable and stressful. At each stop we were rushed through with barely enough time to see anything, let alone enjoy it. The schedule felt poorly planned and chaotic, and the whole experience lacked basic organization. The guide is not familiar with basic facilities like WIFI on bus. Overall, the trip felt uncomfortable, rushed, and not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxed or enjoyable visit.

Spotted quite a few wildlife animal. The ride to Valdés peninsula was very comfortable since there ware only 8 people in a 16 people capacity van. We were able to get back to the cruise pier on time without rushing.

The place is beautiful. The day was great. We've seen a lot of animals. But it really takes the entire stop of the ship. There's no time left for a walk around the city. Stayed a long time in transport, but that was written.

Was picked up right outside the Pier on time and was given a excellent tour. Guide was aware of our return time and kept us on schedule but allowed us the flexibility to stay at places we wanted some extra time. Gave us options and took us to some places with wildlife which we didn't have to share with other tours. Knowaglable, friendly, professional. Highly recommend!
