Paramount Pictures Studio Tour

Sorry to say I was dissapointed in the tour this year. I have been to the Paramount Studios Tour previously and was Much Better then... It all seemed a bit rushed and was not shown the main gate (historical entrance) the water fountain, the Forest Gump bench or associated courtyard and other famous popular sites. Very little ( and I mean VERY Little ) movie / TV locations, etc. We rode on a 6 passenger golf cart most of the tour just looking at the outside of sound stages. Much of the information presented by the guide was in direct conflict with Universal Studios. Interestingly, pretty much ALL Hollywood Studios were mentioned at some point with the exception of Universal. I would NOT recomment this tour at this particular time until they open more areas back up to tours, etc. Many of the areas I had to ask questions about to get information and some of which (not complicated) was answered with "I Don't Know or not sure" I went with a friend who has never been to a studio and they felt it was a bit boring and lacked interest.

Loved this tour. For a short time we were immersed into the secrets of film making, sets, and the roles of those who make it happen. Our guide Zoe was wonderful. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience come alive. No fancy rides and carousels, just a brilliant studio experience.

Brilliant look around the past and a glimpse into the future... Some great history there from the godfather to Elvis to Forrest Gump

Loved this studio tour - got to hold an actual Oscar & to see inside a working studio (Matlock). Guide was very knowledgeable & as there were only 5 of us on the tour, it was great to ask lots of questions too! Seeing the Bronson Gate & the Forrest Gump bench was also fab! Loved it all. Definitely recommend!

Terrible service from Michelle. The visit was not what I expected. Everything was overly discussed and a lot of time spent with a tablet. You see very little of the studios, almost nothing. It's not worth going.

We had a wonderful tour by the best tour guide Chase, who was friendly and charming and full of interesting information. A great experience to see working studios, sets and hear all the background information. We even had ad hoc conversations with various people who’d worked on site for many years, giving us their unique insights and experiences. A great couple of hours, made more delightful by an enthusiastic guide!

A very interesting tour around the large studios seeing familiar sets with our guide Anna. A lovely small group, enough to fill a large golf cart.

If you ever get the chance to do the Paramount Pictures Studio Tour, ask for Solo. He was genuinely one of the best tour guides we have ever had anywhere in the world. Not only was he brilliant at his job, but his passion for movies, actors, film sets, and especially the history of Paramount was absolutely infectious. Most people rush through the history part thinking guests will lose interest — but Solo made it one of the most engaging and fascinating parts of the entire experience. We were completely captivated, not only by the incredible stories and facts he shared, but honestly by him as a person. What made the tour even more special was how hard he worked to make every moment exciting, unique, and memorable. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving people an unforgettable experience and kept looking for ways to make the tour even more thrilling and personal. Solo is truly an asset to Paramount. And beyond that, he’s the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression on people. If he doesn’t one day become an actor in a sci-fi movie or series himself, then Hollywood is seriously missing out. I sincerely hope he goes after every dream he has in this life because he has something incredibly special about him. Thank you, Solo, for making our Paramount experience unforgettable.

Great tour that reflects the history of Hollywood and gives a real insight into the art of filmmaking and its constituent parts. We were also fortunate to have an outstanding guide - Alex was knowledgeable, interesting and interested, would recommend highly.

We visited the Paramount Studio Tour (premier tour) which cost $320 for two people. Very disappointed in the tour - you spend pretty much 1 hour driving around the sets (which when inside you aren’t allowed to take any pictures of?!) When we were there the Bronson gate was “closed” meaning we didn’t get chance to see it. We weren’t told this before the tour.. just during! The tour was very average & at one point we spent about 30 minutes just looking at archived film in boxes and some costumes. Not very happy will be making a complaint
