Ervaar Ketchikan De authentieke manier met de deskundige lokale chauffeurs die zijn geboren en getogen in Ketchikan, Alaska. Geniet van een schilderachtige reis door het weelderige regenwoud, terwijl u de regio's, rijke geschiedenis en levendige cultuur ontdekt. Onderweg kunt u diverse wilde dieren tegenkomen, waaronder beren, adelaars, herten, zalmen, havenrobben, walvissen en nog veel meer. Sla de drukte en grote bussen over en geniet van een meer persoonlijke ontspannen reis met een kleine groep.

We ontmoeten onze tour op dok 2 bij de "ROCK" en van daaruit gaan we de prachtige hoogtepunten van de stad verkennen voordat we op pad gaan!
Deze stop is de zalmladder en hier kun je de zalm stroomopwaarts zien migreren om te paaien tijdens het paaiseizoen. (Zalmen beginnen in juli te paaien)
Hier zullen we genieten van onze prachtige zwarte zandstranden! We stappen uit en verkennen en strandkammen! (afhankelijk van het getij)
Hier zullen we genieten van een prachtig landschap op zoek naar alle soorten wilde dieren, zoals zwarte beren, adelaars, kraanvogels, gewone zeehonden en verschillende soorten vogels. (DIEREN NIET GEGARANDEERD)
Dit is een adembenemende waterval aan de zuidkant op 16 km afstand. EEN MOET ZIEN!!!

Lexington was very knowledgeable and alot of fun. We were able too see 3 bears and some cool sites. She was very accommodating. Highly recommend their tour. Super fun afternoon.

I’ve taken this same tour four times individually with my grandchildren. Sharing Alaska with a ‘lifer’ local guide is very important. Nothing is guaranteed except a new experience. I’ve not yet been disappointed. As a lifer guide in my area I endeavor to take guests on a tour that I would want to be on. Lexi does that. Local guides have such a short season it’s important to support their business. I’ll be back again.

This was a very last minute booking and what a fabulous last minute idea it was! Not only was it priced at an affordable rate (much cheaper than excursions booked through cruise lines) but it was an excellent adventure with our local and very knowledgeable guide Lexie! As my husband said, " It was like driving with your best friend on back country roads". Lexie was so personable and did her very best to make sure that we saw the hidden areas that we otherwise would not have had the opportunity to see in our own. Lexie even picked berries for us to taste and educated us on all the trees and plants in the area! 100% recommend this excursion!!

Very nice driver but the trip wasn't very professional; messy van, couldn't find the mic so people in the back couldn't hear; had to stop for gas. Did see some eagles and a waterfall but overall, not worth the price.

This was a fabulous tour!!! John was awesome! He knew where bears had recently been sighted & we saw wild bears & the eagle experience was sensational!! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area & directed us to a great restaurant to have some local king crab. I couldn’t recommend this tour more. If you’re in Ketchikan - don’t miss out on John’s tour!!!

We were lucky enough to see bears, tons of eagles, seals, and salmon. The waterfall we visited was beautiful. The van was comfortable and our tour guide was down to earth and pleasant. Would recommend!

Gentleman giving tour tried hardest to.find bears but we had no luck this day. Really had to use restroom,please were forgotten at times and tough on the bladder! But did see a hug eagle perched on a rock only 15' away!
