We halen je direct op bij je hotel in Caïro voor een spannende dag met het verkennen van de beroemde bezienswaardigheden van El Fayoum! Het is ongeveer 95 km rijden van Caïro naar Fayoum. Maak je klaar voor een volledige dag safari in onze comfortabele 4WD als tour rond wadi Rayan, dat sinds 1989 een beschermd gebied is. Ons avontuur begint in het prachtige Wadi El Rayan, door UNESCO erkend als werelderfgoed dankzij de verbazingwekkende 40 - miljoen jaar oude walvisskeletten die er zijn gevonden. Op weg naar de prachtige Wadi El Rayan Watervallen stoppen we bij het Magic Lake, waar je de kans krijgt om te zandboarden in de duinen, en daarna bezoeken we Mudawara Mountain. Daarna gaan we naar de adembenemende Wadi El Rayan Watervallen. Wadi El Rayan is een natuurlijke depressie in de westelijke woestijn, met twee meren verbonden door de enige watervallen van Egypte, gecreëerd in 1970 uit overloopwater van de landbouwgronden van Fayoum. Als afsluiter van de dag heeft u de mogelijkheid om een heerlijke BBQ-lunch te krijgen in het charmante dorpje Tunis.

Qaroun Lake ligt in het noorden van het gouvernement Fayoum. Het ligt ongeveer 20 km ten noorden van Fayoum stad, 80 ten zuidwesten van Caïro. is een van de rijkste en meest gewaardeerde natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden van Egypte. Het Qarunmeer kreeg zijn protectoraatstatus, niet alleen vanwege zijn duidelijke schoonheid en belang voor vogels en mensen, maar ook vanwege zijn ongeëvenaarde historische, natuurlijke en wetenschappelijke belang.
Het Wadi El Rayan reservaat bestaat uit zeven delen; de bovenste en onderste meren, El Rayan bronnen, El Rayan Falls, El Modawara Mountain (of Jabal El Modawara in het Arabisch), El Rayan Mountain (Jabal El Rayan) en Wadi El Hitan (De Vallei van de Walvissen). Al deze gebieden zitten vol met prachtige landschappen zoals oases, bergen, rotsformaties en watervallen.
Het kleine dorpje Tunis (izbat Tunis) ligt in de oase Fayoum, op weg naar Wadi Rayan. Gelegen op een heuvel met uitzicht op een groot zoutwatermeer, het dorp kijkt uit op een prachtig uitzicht op de rand van de woestijn aan de andere kant van het meer. Het is een van de mooiste plekken in Egypte. We zullen de kans krijgen om te bezoeken en hebben onze BBQ lunch daar

Great trip and worth the money! Megoo was a great guide. He told us about everything up front, so there were no surprises and the trip was great. Our driver was also great and knew exactly what he was doing at all times. We highly recommend taking this trip when visiting Cairo
Very poor experience as the tour guide that we had and we picked up in Cairo, had NO IDEA what we were doing and where we were going. Also it was the first time he had been a guide in this area and he specialized in antiquity, which is not the case there either. Our driver was phenomenal, but our tour guide had no idea where we were going and his english was VERY poor. Lastly the restaurant that they suggest is literally ripping you off. The mentioned price is 15$ (for a meal that in Cairo costs 5) , and somehow we ended up paying 30$ each. 60$ for 2 people in Egypt is the steal of the centrury for a plate of food. You should protect your customers as a company arranging these things not taking us to get robbed in broad daylight. Very poor experice in a very nice place.

Excellent guide, good itinerary, I recommend it, we went with the family, super safe, economical, and a good tour guide guided us super well.
The tour covered all the key sites to see at the pyramids, saqquara and Memphis. We also had a nice lunch and visited an papyrus factory with (overpriced) souvenirs. All in all a good tour, however our tour guide wasn't very talkative. He gave a few highlights at each location and otherwise quiet unless probed for more information. That said, he was very gracious in taking several great photos of my mom and I. He took them with his phone camera of better quality and sent me the files. I really appreciated this.
