De zilveren pagode is vernoemd naar de vloer, die uit 5.000 zilveren tegels bestaat. Binnenin bevindt zich een gouden Boeddha ingelegd met 9.584 diamanten. De Wat Phnom-tempel is de belangrijkste van alle tempels in Phnom Penh. De tempel heeft een hechte relatie met de hoofdstad. Wat Phnom ligt bovenop een 27 meter hoge, met bomen bedekte heuvel, op de enige 'heuvel' in de stad.
Het Onafhankelijkheidsmonument in Phnom Penh, de hoofdstad van Cambodja, werd gebouwd in 1958 na de onafhankelijkheid van het land van Frankrijk. Het opmerkelijke Onafhankelijkheidsmonument is een van de meest opvallende bezienswaardigheden van Phnom Penh.
Het Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, ook wel het standbeeld van koning vader Norodom Sihanouk genoemd, is een monument ter herdenking van de voormalige koning Norodom Sihanouk in Phnom Penh, Cambodja. Het bronzen beeld is 4,5 meter hoog en staat onder een 27 meter hoge stupa in het park ten oosten van het Onafhankelijkheidsmonument.
Het eiland Koh Chen is populair vanwege het grote bereik en de bronzen souvenirs. Hoe dichter je bij het enige dorp van het eiland komt, hoe harder het geluid wordt geproduceerd door mannen die op verhit brons hameren.
Dit dorp staat bekend om zijn handgemaakte producten van puur zilver met items zoals olifantenminiaturen, verfraaide dozen en andere soorten reliëfwerk. Zilversmeden snijden, vormen en archiveren vellen zilver met precisie om onder andere sieraden en decoratieve theelepels te maken.
Kampong Luong-pagode is een plaats van aanbidding en de secretaris van het museum, die de leiding had over de missie, had grote moeite om het hoofd van de pagode te overtuigen
Oudong was enkele honderden jaren geleden de hoofdstad van Cambodja. Veel lokale mensen bezoeken hier voor sightseeing en bidden. Op de trap naar de heuveltop waren veel apen. Het uitzicht vanaf de tempel was geweldig. Er is een markt vlakbij de ingang waar buitenlanders speciaal lokaal eten kunnen proberen.

Oudong op de top van de berg bestaat uit een cluster van stoepa's en tempels. De drie belangrijkste stoepa's zijn Damrei Sam Poan, Ang Duong en Mukh Proum. De Oudong-stoepa's zijn ook bekend als Chedi's in Khmer. Ze vormen een grote begraafplaats van de vroegere koningen van Cambodja.

The tour is nice. 5 stars. But Do not buy any silver items from the local family store. The same products are available at the Royal Palace Shops for a third of the price. This family purchases these items elsewhere and falsely presents them as handmade. They also use children to promote their business and create an illusion of authenticity.

The round was done backwards, which caused the table time to be cancelled. A whole day without eating, but having to climb a lot of steps, is very difficult. Our guide, had a lot of knowledge, but did not speak very loudly, which required a lot of concentration. We saw the accommodation of the female monks, which was very interesting.

I loved the day trip on the outskirt of Phnom Penh. Oudong Mountain and Phnom Baset are remarkable in many ways: the views from atop, the buildings, the recent history. Mr. Tokk was my tour guide with Mr. Mean who drove us around all day safely. I enjoyed speaking with Mr. Tokk who's very knowledgeable and insightful about Buddhism, French colonization, and more modern history. I learned a lot and appreciate the Khmer people even more. We had lunch at a typical Khmer restaurant near Phnom Baset with hammocks and a bamboo hut. We also stopped at a silversmithing business in a village where Muslims and Buddhists live harmoniously. I highly recommend this day trip and both Mr. Tokk and Mean!

We took a private tour with Sophea and the driver was Simon. Thanks to them we had a very nice trip. Sophea showed us around the city, took time to explain everything patiently. He described each building of the palace in detail . Was very helpful and encouraging when we climbed the Oudong mountain and told us all about the Pagoda.
