De reis waard als je geïnteresseerd bent in unieke kunst in ongewone landschappen, de installatie van beeldhouwer Richard Serra in het Brouq-natuurreservaat bestaat uit vier stalen platen, elk meer dan 14 meter hoog, verspreid over een kilometer van de verlaten westelijke Qatari-woestijn. U kunt zelfs een struisvogel of gazelle spotten in het omliggende woestijnreservaat. De 1,5 uur durende rit ten westen van Doha omvat een beetje off-road rijden. Richard Serra heeft een nieuwe staande kunst van plat ijzer onthuld die ongeveer 15 meter hoog is in de woestijn van Qatar. Richard Serra's The Artist, gemaakt voor Qatar door de beroemde Amerikaanse kunstenaar Richard Serra's, heet "East-West / West-East" en bevindt zich ongeveer 60 km buiten Doha in het Brouq-natuurreservaat bij Zekreet. De massieve flat overspant 1 km van het gebied en "ligt in een natuurlijke gang gevormd door gipsplateaus",
Zekreet fort Qatar Het landschap van het Zekreet schiereiland heeft een unieke en fascinerende geologie. Zoutvlakten, rotsen en open woestijnplateaus domineren dit landschap. Er zijn hier geen zandduinen, rare rotsformaties en geweldige uitzichten over het blauwe water van de golf. De kalksteenhelling van Bir-Zekreet is een woestijnbleek, de wind heeft verleidelijke rotsen, onthullende pilaren, grote kalkstenen paddenstoelen en vreemde vormen die uit kliffen steken. Het strand ligt in het hart van de stad en ligt dicht bij het strand. De strandrotsen met natuurlijke rondingen geven ons een concept van minutieus houtsnijwerk, gemaakt door een groot artiest. Bezoek aan de Eye Wall aan het einde van de tour.

Muhammad was an outstanding guide for the East–West / West–East tour. We visited the mushroom rocks, film city and many more. He was extremely patient, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable, not just about the artwork but also the surrounding landscape and its significance.
