Ontdek het iconische Piha Beach van Nieuw-Zeeland tijdens onze West Coast Discovery tour! Beginnend met een pick-up van de 4 hotels vermeld in Auckland CBD, geniet van een 30 minuten durende schilderachtige rit door de Waitakere Ranges. Onze eerste stop is het Arataki Visitor Centre, waar u meer te weten komt over de inheemse bomen van Nieuw-Zeeland en kunt genieten van een prachtig uitzicht over de bergketens – een ideale start om de westkust te verkennen. Vervolgens nemen we een 20 minuten rijden naar Karekare Watervallen, waar een korte, gemakkelijke wandeling leidt u naar deze prachtige natuurlijke site, perfect voor foto's. Daarna gaan we naar het beroemde Piha Surf Beach, bekend om zijn zwarte ijzerzand en spannende golven uit de Tasmanzee, waar u kunt gaan zwemmen of gewoon ontspannen en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Breng zeker een bezoek aan Lion Rock, gelegen in het hart van het strand, voor een adembenemend uitzicht en onvergetelijke fotomogelijkheden. Daarna gaan we terug naar Auckland CBD.

A great discovery tour of the west coast of Auckland - a world that is so uniquely special and different to the city that is completely accessible. The trio of experiences on this tour were complementary (mountain ranges and viewpoints, black sand beaches, waterfalls) and impressively gorgeous! Our driver/guide, David, was a fount of information and insight! Highly recommended.
We were very lucky to spend our day with Andy. It was just us (a couple) and another person - so we had a feeling this was more like a private tour :) Andy was great - such a kind person with a knowledge about the country. Got picked and dropped directly from and to our hotel. The van was comfortable. We learned a lot and got to enjoy meat pies in a small local cafe. The beach is spectacular. Waterfall is great. Waitakere Ranges and Visitor Center informing and relaxing.

My mum and I went on this tour together. It was really well done! Adil was a very informative and welcoming tour guide/driver. He was very friendly and considerate. We saw 2 waterfalls, a beautiful black sand beach, and lions rock. Highly recommend!
This was a beautiful trip. We had great views from the peaks, a sturdy hike to see a beautiful waterfall, ending with lunch and time to admire the dark sand beach. Our guide, Aiden, was fantastic!

We had a great time with Adil as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed seeing the waterfall and the beach. He also took us to One Tree Hill and a drive across the bridge.

Adil, our guide was terrific. He shared his knowledge of New Zealand history and the history and character of the Auckland area. He was able to explain the significance of each site we visited. When the main road was closed to a waterfall he got us there by way of a winding backroad so we didn't miss out. I woukd recommend this tour and especially Adil as a guide.
Great tour. Stephen was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to you. No lunch included but he will ask to take you to a spot if you’re hungry and he took us to buy icecream. We even did a bonus visit to the Auckland Winter Garden. Recommend to take this tour.
