Schilderachtig eiland rijden door olijfbomen, wijngaarden en dikke cipressen openes. Rijd door de natuur tot aan het prachtige Melissani Lake, een van de meest spectaculaire grotten ter wereld, en de indrukwekkende grot van Drogarati, met de stalactieten en stalagmieten. Vrije tijd in het kleurrijke, rustige dorpje Agia Efimia en na verder naar Fiscardo de en genieten van unieke sfeer. Op de terugweg fotostop boven het schitterende Myrtos, een van de beroemdste stranden.

Stop bij Agia Efimia - een kleurrijk, rustig dorp - dat in een baai aan de oostkant van het eiland ligt. Zeilboten van over de hele wereld gaan hier voor anker en de mengelmoes van talen die uit de taverna's en bars komen, geven de plaats een behoorlijk kosmopolitische uitstraling, in de mooie haven van waaruit er een prachtig uitzicht is op het zustereiland Ithaca van Kefalonia.
Ontdek het vissersdorpje Fiskardo en eet een hapje in een van de beschilderde taverna's aan het water. Dit kosmopolitische dorp biedt een unieke sfeer en is absoluut een trendy plek!

Fab trip the coach rep Duskra was very imformative all day telling us about where we were going and the history of the visits we made.. Fiscardo village is stunning a little hidden gem i fell in love with the place. We ate at Algipas recommended by Duskra the food was delicious great staff lovely position on the harbour.. We had a 1hr 20mins stop there not long enough i'm afraid the trip would of been even more enjoyable with an extra hour to really enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst walking around without rushing so please consider this for the excursion! The wine tasting at Robola was great we bought some wine and olive oil there to bring home as it was far cheaper than in the supermarkets.. The caves were an experience and we got a photo of Myrtos beach on the way home it looked beautiful to say the least.. Georgina at Kefalonia excursions was very nice very polite and helpful on us deciding on our day trip out we had great day indeed

We went for the Melisani Cave tour in Kefalonia , to discover more of the island! We booked easily online . The driver Mr Dimitris was very efficient for the narrow roads ..but the star of our excursion was the tour guide Mrs Dusca .She explained to us with every detail the history and the myths of any place we went .... Agios Gerasimos church and monastery , then in a wine taster were they offered us three kind of wines and their history! Very interesting and informative! Then we travelled to Aghia Efimia and had a tasty seafood lunch at Fiscardo. The magnificent caves were to follow, a boat tour of the Melisani cave, and the fantastic stalactites and stalagmites down ...in the earth of the Drogarati cave ! Amazing!!! Every visitor in Kefalonia should go for that tour, myself and my grand daughter thoroughly enjoyed it!
Discovering Kefalonia through our excursion is truly a unique experience and it truly makes us happy you had a wonderful time & hope to see you again in the near future !
