De donuttour door Santa Monica is ons eerste uitstapje naar het zonnige Zuid-Californië. Deze tour viert alles wat met donuts, zonneschijn en plezier aan het strand te maken heeft. Onze tour begint bij een instelling in Californië, Randy's Donuts. Je kent Randy's misschien van hun vele optredens op tv, films en muziekvideo's, met name vanwege hun iconische gigantische donut. Nadat we enkele van hun geweldige klassiekers hebben geprobeerd, gaan we verder naar onze volgende locatie, Sidecar Donuts. Als je op zoek bent naar geweldige, ambachtelijke donuts, dan ben je hier aan het juiste adres. Onze derde locatie is een enigszins onverwachte stop, maar nog steeds typisch Californië voor churros. En onze laatste stop kan veranderen op basis van de groep of het weer, dus we zullen de verrassing niet verpesten, maar de twee opties die we hebben uitgekozen zijn beide even fantastisch.

Randy's Donuts - een klassiek Californisch donutinstituut is onze eerste stop.
Onze tweede stop op de tour. Ze hebben geweldige ambachtelijke donuts die je moet proberen.
Papi Churros & Tacos is onze derde stop op de tour. Naast de churros moet je ook de birria-taco's proberen. Verrukkelijk!
We kunnen de tour hier beëindigen of mogelijk in een nabijgelegen donutwinkel, afhankelijk van het weer en hoe ver de groep wil lopen.
We lopen door de 3rd Street Promenade om de vele winkels en restaurants in de buurt te bekijken.

Chad was amazing! He was so nice and funny, and was chatting us up well! He told his some cool stories and lots of fun things I never knew. It was the perfect length for a tour, and he got us some just amazing donuts and other treats.
The experience was super fun. We got to try so many different treats and our tour guide Chad and was amazing.

What an awesome time! The donuts were delicious and Chad was an amazing tour guide! He was very friendly and personable, not to mention patient as after our second donut stop our 4 & 6 year olds were jumping off the walls from the sugar. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Donuts!

I had a great time with our tour guide Mike. He was very knowledgeable. My favorite donut place on the tour was Sidecar donuts because the flavor was really good and very cake like. My second favorite place was Papis churros. The fillings were very unique. The last place I loved was McConnell's ice cream. They had really good ice cream. The tour had a great variety of dessert choices and was excellent, I recommend you do it.

Our family of 5 joined Chad for our donut, churro, and ice cream tour. Chad is a lively and fun personality. He was easily able to keep us entertained between stops and with the other family of 2 that joined us. Chad shared background about each stop and was well prepared with gloves to handle the food, a cutting board, bench scrapper to cut the donuts/churros, napkins, and hand sanitizer. He also shared knowledge about the area as we walked between each business. Each place had wonderful options making it hard to narrow down to just 2-3 donuts per place. The churros were made fresh while we sat outside and the ice cream was so delicious. At the churro location, they had Mexican Cokes which we had to try. Suggestions, bring water, wear sunscreen, wear comfortable walking shoes (the walk is easy), sunglasses, and a hat if you like.
