Begin je tour bij Fushimi Inari Taisha, het hoofdheiligdom van meer dan 30.000 Inari-heiligdommen in Japan. Breng een uur door met het verkennen van deze iconische site, bekend om zijn duizenden opvallende vermiljoen torii-poorten. Deze poorten vormen een schijnbaar eindeloos pad waar je tijdens je bezoek doorheen kunt dwalen. Oorspronkelijk gewijd aan de goden van de landbouw, is Fushimi Inari niet alleen een spiritueel centrum, maar ook een symbool van adembenemende schoonheid en culturele betekenis.
We wandelen door het koele en schaduwrijke Bamboebos, wat geweldig is voor foto's. Je ziet ook de Togetsukyo (maanoverstekende brug). U kunt ook de omgeving verkennen, genieten van lokale snacks of lunchen (inbegrepen indien geselecteerd)
Het met bladgoud overdekte Gouden Paviljoen was ooit de villa van de Ashikaga Shogun, en is nu een Zen Tempel / UNESCO Heritage Site.
Bij Kiyomizu-dera, een van de meest iconische tempels in Japan, loop je over het indrukwekkende houten podium, dat uitsteekt vanaf de heuvel en werd gebouwd zonder het gebruik van een enkele spijker. De tempel heeft een weids uitzicht over Kyoto en de prachtige omliggende natuur. Je kunt ook drinken uit een van de drie verjongende stromen van Otowa Waterval, waarvan gezegd wordt dat ze succes, liefde en een lang leven brengen.

Kiran was a great tour guide in spite of the fact that he was only covering his colleague. He was friendly and gave enough overview of the places we visited. He helped with picture taking and offered suggestions/recommendations for best spots to take pictures. He also offered places where to pick up snacks/coffee. The places visited were the "must-see" places for every Kyoto visitor. Just be prepared to put in your 15k+ steps!

All the attractions covered were beautiful. However the tour seemed rushed at the end. Not sufficient time given for all the temples and shrines . Felt rushed. Need to add more time to the tour to do full justice. Also it’s expected that everyone be able to follow the given map. Easy to get lost if you don’t have network coverage to scan the meeting points.

Our guide was in English, however, for a majority of the tour, she spoke in her native language and it would translate into English onto your phone. This is a great tool, the information was a little misleading and reading on a phone while on a moving bus can sometimes make people sick. Relaying this information prior to booking would have been helpful.

It was Japan on conveyor belt I had not been on a day tour before except when in the bus it was always a rush got lost in a crowd separated from tour group at bamboo forest just so may people but tour group very professional contacted me and I met up at the bus

Very good tour; they provided maps to follow the recommended routes to visit each place, and the guide Kieran was very willing to explain everything and answer questions. The time to be at each place is very short; I would have liked a little more.

We had a good time in Kyoto. Our tour guide was amazing. The weather did get a bit hot in the afternoon but overall seeing th temples, the original architecture was just beautiful by the river. I would recommend this day tour to everyone.

Tour was good but really long. I think a bit less time could have been spent in each spot without taking away from the overall experience. It just felt like it dragged at times. Jewell was very kind and shared a lot of information.
