De uitgebreide kennis van de Gids over de lokale flora en fauna zal uw ervaring verbeteren, of u nu rondslentert in Laguna Charco Verde of de stranden van Punta Jesus Maria bewondert. Ometepe heeft verhalen te vertellen voor degenen die willen luisteren en daarom zal onze Gids de artefacten in El Ceibo museum cureren. Om glazuur aan de taart toe te voegen, wordt u voorzien van een heerlijke huisgemaakte maaltijd op basis van de lokale keuken. Ojo de agua wat kunnen we zeggen dat nog niet eerder is gezegd?, Dit natuurlijke zwemgat is waar u kunt ontspannen, een duik kunt nemen en uw geest kunt verjongen. Onze moto is 'Geniet in je eigen tempo' en daarom zullen we je er nooit doorheen jagen. We hopen dat u aan het einde van dit alles met een glimlach 'QUE LINDA ISLA' zult uitspreken

U kunt wandelen in de scheidende wateren van het meer Cocibolca. Je kunt genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht op zowel de vulkaan Concepcion als de vulkaan Maderas. Je kunt ook getuige zijn van een betoverende zonsondergang in de schemering.
Je kunt een kijkje nemen in het rijke erfgoed en de geschiedenis van Ometepe in het El Ceibo-museum. Het museum beschikt over twee zalen. De eerste hal herbergt een aantal precolumbiaanse kunstvoorwerpen en de tweede hal een overvloed aan munten. Onze deskundige gids zal de artefacten en munten samenstellen om uw ervaring te verbeteren. Als klap op de vuurpijl krijg je een shot lokale rum (Cojoyo) gemaakt van maïs.
Je kunt rond de Laguna wandelen en verwelkomd worden door brulapen. In de Mariposario (vlindersverblijf) zult u uw ogen trakteren op de schoonheid van vlinders. U kunt foto's maken vanuit een gezichtspunt en uw voeten nat maken op de playa Bancon
Ojo de agua is een natuurlijk zwemgat dat wordt aangevuld door het water van een rivier afkomstig van de vulkaan Concepcion. U kunt ontspannen, een duik nemen en uw geest verjongen te midden van de uitnodigende natuur.
Een lunch op basis van de lokale keuken wordt verzorgd in een buitensfeer.

We zullen in staat zijn om u op te halen van elke plaats in Ometepe. Als de tour alleen gereserveerd is voor een klant dan halen we ze op in Motorbike. Als het meer dan één is dan halen we ze op in een geschikt voertuig (auto, bestelwagen etc..) We zijn inclusief alle entreegelden, en een huisgemaakte lunch op basis van een lokale keuken, met uitzondering van Economy Classic Cultural Tours optie.

I am a solo traveler. I was a bit hesitant at first but as soon as I met the guide Douglas I felt comfortable. He came and picked me up. We planned out the days events and went at our own pace. I have a hard time hiking down due to my vision but he helped me every step the way. Enjoyed traveling across the island on a motor bike as well. I had a blast. If you are solo so t hesitate.

This Day Tour was the best experience i’ve had in Nicaragua. Donald and Franklin are amazing people and even better tour guides! My friends and I got to see everything we wanted to see along with enough time at every spot for our own exploration and for pictures. We ate food at Donald’s family home and to this day I think about his Wife’s cooking ! The best food on the island and the sweetest people I have ever met. Not only were the connections and experiences so special and worth it but we learned so much at the Museum del Cabo I truly fell even more in love with the island. The guys were kind enough to take us to a Pulperia on our way back to our accommodation and they even made a video for us of our day:)) I also booked several transportation services with the people I met through this day tour and everyone was amazing 10/10!

Donald is the man! I am so glad I booked this full day tour of Ometepe. He picked me up from my accomodation at 0830 and then I spent the day on the back of his motorbike touring the cultural and natural highlights of the island ending at Playa Mango fot sunset. For lunch, I had a delicious lunch prepared by his lovely wife and met his adorable kids! For a bonus, he actually attempted (bless him, haha) to teach me how to ride a motorbike. I was hopeless, but it was so fun to try and good idea I hadn't just rented one thinking I could learn on the fly. Anyhow, I actually think it was an amazing deal since I could customize the itinerary and since I had a short time on Ometepe--compared to speaking to others--I did more on my day with him than many do in several days. Highly recommend the day tour of the island. Especially if you don’t want to hike up a volcano. However; Happy Tours does that too. We contacted very last minute and they were able to get a guide to give us the tour of the island. We saw all the spots we wanted to see. Juan was our guide . He speaks English as well and we both got to practice Spanish and English 😉. They were willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. The family cooked lunch was really good too !
