Canterbury Guided Tours bieden leuke rondleidingen van 90 minuten voor bezoekers aan de historische stad Canterbury. Van middeleeuwse straatjes en pelgrimsherbergen tot het majestueuze terrein van de kathedraal, onze tours nemen je mee terug in de tijd, trakteren je op verhalen en onthullen hoe de stad zich door de jaren heen heeft ontwikkeld. Canterbury Tourist Guides Ltd, opgericht in 1948, is een onafhankelijk bedrijf dat zich toelegt op het organiseren van begeleide wandeltochten van de hoogste kwaliteit in Canterbury. Onze rondleidingen zijn de officiële rondleidingen door de stad en de enige rondleidingen met toegang tot het prachtige terrein van de kathedraal. Al onze gidsen zijn in het bezit van de groene stadsbadges, hebben de geaccrediteerde opleiding voltooid en zijn geslaagd voor de relevante examens die zijn vastgesteld door het Instituut voor Toeristenbegeleiding.

The tour was at a good pace for all different ages and abilities. The tour guide knew her stuff and was very friendly. It was a very hot day so I definitely appreciated the stops in the shade. Would recommend this to anyone, history buffs or people who just want to know a little about the town they're visiting!

My sister and I attended the Viator guided tour of this historic city. Kirsten, our guide, made the history of Canterbury come alive with her knowledge of events - some of them quite quirky but always interesting - explaining time, place and people in ways that one would remember. The ancient and modern history of the cathedral were focussed on as well as past social and cultural events in the city. Unusually, language associations were explained which were satisfying. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

It was such a great tour! An amazing time in Canterbury and our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate. His poetry reading skills were unmatched! We had a very interesting and enjoyable walking tour on Tuesday 9th June, guided by Sue who was excellent. Fortunately, we were part of a small group so we could hear Sue clearly. She made the tour interesting with historical facts and gave us some amusing anecdotes along the way. We covered a good chunk of the city centre but it's easy walking and took about 1hr 40mins in total.
